just curious at what point you are starting the a/f target map. i had mine set at 0% throttle and to come on at 40degrees celcius and the a/f target map with figures input all the way from idle on up to redline. my a/f has been right on in every condition i have had the car so far, but i have only about 70 miles on my car now in good running condition. i have yet to see any changes in my ij map. i have all the rest of the feedback settings set to the middle point.
i have been up to about 12 psi so far (very quickly) and was at 11.5 a/f. i have a 1to1 raising rate fuel press reg, but am finding it hard to believe the stock fuel map is keeping up with this if the a/f target map has made no changes yet. any more info?

also, my throttle responce has been feeling a little "soggy". i am guessing it is because of cutting back the maf signal. any one else felt this condition? i am going to try and get as much of the injector signal cut from the ij scaling map as i can to see if keeping the maf signal as close to stock as possible will help this.
all attemps at tuning before has been futile, but now the car has the right cam timing, the tuning part is becoming alot easier, lol. looks as though the eu will control 660 injectors with no prob.

oh ya, my above condition is only noticable right off idle. once the revs are up a little it has great throttle responce.

I usually start the AF targeting at about 5psi of boost, and 3500rpm. I just let the stock ECU hit around 14.7:1 under part throttle, vaccumm, small boost, and low RPM.

hmm that sucks, I'm still waiting for being able to "set" the ignition timing. Kinda lame that you still can't do it and the EU has been out for like 5-6 months now

I am using 1.09 and all is working right now. I have a problem with idling but I was not sure if it’s because of the head work & cams. What are the issues you have see with 1.09?

Got my car started finaly. I reverted to 1.06 and it started right up. So for ***** snd grins I reloaded 1.09. Car didn't start, just kept cranking. I reloaded 1.06 and it starts.

Take it with a grain of salt though my EU has been hitting the crack pipe to much.

If interested check it out https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....7&page=1&pp=20

It's definately a head scratcher.

Hey guys. I'm going to "unstick" this thread since the title is a bit stale and the EU is now well into the market. Just an FYI.

Alright you wimps...I finally got everything up an running again and successfully extended the limiter using the ignition wire inputs. It wasn't as easy as I thought, since I had to use the Add Injector map when the RLC map cut out. It works on the VQ30DEK at least for a couple hundred extra RPM. I don't have a WB02 yet and the holidays had 5-0 breathing down my neck, so I didn't push it too far and until I steal another laptop, I won't be anytime soon.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....09#post4607509

Anybody with access to a dyno for numerous 3rd gear pulls(2nd on the street varies load too much IMO) and a WB02 should definitely give it a try. With your guys crank input for precise RPM input, I'm sure it will be much simpler to nail down the RPM load points.

Anyways, good luck....

how about just spicing up the title alittle bit, like, "super duper thinger". ok, ya the first like 2/3s of the thread is worthless, but a few good things in the last part.

LOL..you are guys are funny. Yes, the rev limit increase works on the EU, but as you said, its a little tricky. You have to extnd the IPW's beyond when the stock ECU cuts the fuel.

It's a lot easier to do this on a UTEC.

It didn't work for me using IPW, only duration.

Do you have any logs showing what happens to ignition timing past the stock fuel cut?

Speed limit cut will not work, becuase there is no single speed signal input to "trick". You can tap the speed signal, to control the 2-step, but routing a fake signal back to the ECM network is nearly impossible, according to some electrical gurus such as KPierson.
