Looking for guys(other than MIAPLAYA) with the Turbonetics ST on their cars to put down their impressions on the kit, daily driveability, it's overall performance, quality, install issues, etc. Anything you would change with the kit and anything you think it needs to make it better. Thanks.

Well I can tell you I love the kit. It is the first turboed car I have ever owned. I did the install my self. I dynoed at 361whp and 380 ft/lbs. That is bone stock with just the kit right out of the box. I really dont have any gripes. I really will stand by this kit. Now mind you I am still learning all about F.I. and dont know half as much as I would like to but I am working on it! And as far as customer support is concerned all I can say is Wow!!! If I had a question on something on the install or even the TON of newbie questions I had, Reggie(works for T-netics) was right there every step of the way. As a matter of fact Reggie called me about 3 weeks ago just to make sure things were good. I feel as if these guys(T-netics) are more like friends that are always willing to help out.
It will be easier for me to answer any direct questions you have about the kit rather than discussing all the ins and outs. And like I said I am still learning about all this F.I. stuff but I will do my best to answer any questions you might have. If I can. lol

Anyway the kit does look great, and my problems that I have had I don't even think to consider as "Turbonetics" related... It was more shop error, so would I do it all again... Yes it is worth it, except this time I would do the install myself and get the Tuner version since I have the fuel pump already installed and get bigger injectors that would go along with the Greddy Emanage Ultimate I have here sitting on my room floor for management
I bought my kit for $4,700. I think I saw it somewhere recently though for $4,300. So just shop around. I thought you had questions on the kit it self? And just out of curiosty why dont you want to hear from Miaplaya? He has helped me out tremendiously. Thank god his advice/help is free otherwise I would be a broke ****!!

MIA has been honest and compared well. Though some others might look at it differently cause he takes the time to stand up and explain the kit, I just find it silly that folks get all worked over it and make a bigger deal out of nothing.

all I've got to say is... you're going to have on sweet sedan
I think this kit is a wicked bang for the buck! It might be a bit limited in comparison to the TT's but it has everything you need for a simple reliable boost set up.

To bad there can't be more folks who are as helpful and knowledgable.
Also I see the threads/posts even on other sites where folks want to insult you and us even to the point of getting in your face (sort a speak)... All I can do is shake my head and think we are to old to be acting like children.

-Best FI solution as far as daily drivability imo.
-Top notch quality
-Best gains for your money in an FI kit
-Best gains without tuning or tweaking
I'm completely satisfied with mine. The only thing I would change if I had to do it over agian, would be to NOT install it with headers.

I agree with taurran totally. We've had ours on our shop car, it looks OEM, it runs perfect, gets great fuel mileage, we just have no complaints. We tweaked on the kit and raised the boost to 12 PSI. We run it as a daily driver/shop car/race car and our A/F was exactly the same as it was with 8 PSI and we didn't touch a dam thing. We scan the car and theres just nothing to dial in. Everything is setup correctly.
It's just a dam good kit all around. The tune is safe, it flat makes power, and looks good. For the price, you can't beat it.
Any more input from other users? I'm looking for more power from my Z roadster that I'm buying in the next few weeks, and I'm considering Turbonetics vs. the new SFR Twin-Turbo. How much boost is involved with the stock kit, and how high you can go and still have stock-level reliability.
The most important factors for me:
Drivability. This is a daily driver/weekend cruiser, not a race car (maybe just once in a while at a stop light).
Reliability. I don't EVER want to be stranded on the side of the road (though I do have AAA).
Bang for the Buck. I want the most for the least (doesn't everyone?), just need enough to handily beat 99% of cars out there, not the supercars or 1000HP monster tuners.
Any other Turbonetics users with thoughts?
David

I can tell you if you are pushing 360 or more WHP and have a clutch type LSD you will be quicker than most on the road. Just imagine being close if not getting low 13 to the 12 sec range in the 1/4
