If you do not buy a Tuner, the UTEC still can datalog a host of parameters from timing to knock to boost to TPS - all configurable inside the UTEC "software". However, if you want to datalog wideband 02 as part of the mix, a Tuner or Tuner Pro is required.
Can you provide a link to where I can read about the difference between the UTEC, UTEC tuner, and UTEC Tuner pro. I looked on Turbo XS' website but I couldn't find it. Thanks.

He's not calling and cussing me out... which means two things... It wasn't that bad or he hasn't touched it yet.

So what needs to be added to the basic UTEC to get boost control?
Do you sell and integrated solenoid solution.

You will need our 120psi Boost Solenoid. Which will be released at the same time as the Z UTEC.

Thanks,

If it's a pre-2005 , looks like the rev limiter was raised a bit?

I was planning on buying a boost controller at the same time as the UTEC. Should I wait for info on this?

COOL!!!!! Rev limit increase!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!! You guys are the best!

BTW, the trq curve is normal. A little bit steeper drop off, due to the higher rev limit.

FYI...we have the UTEC on pre-order...up on the website : http://www.forgedinternals.com/store/home.php?cat=268

if you want the utec to control boost, then get the solenoid...if you want a standalone controller, no need to wait - all about personal preference.

I dont really know anything about the UTEC boost control functions and what the advantages may be to using it versus a standalone. It sounds kind of cool though.
