Even if it didn't...I wouldn't worry about it...no one else seems to have had a problem. There was obviously a couple factors that were wrong here....1. extremely low oil and 2. tuning. It seems like its leaning towards oil starvation

as for the body work, you need to make SURE the body shop uses PPG paint to match OEM colors. Dupont is not bad, but it is NO WHERE near even CLOSE to matching color tone that OEM PPG can do. If they ARE using PPG, then that shop just flat out sucks! PPG matches itself, you just need the hired hand to lay it on smooth.

Did it leak out or did you underfill it?

Oil starvation or sustained detonation that hammers the rod bearings.

Jimmy, sorry to hear about your loss. Do you think that this could have happened before the TT was installed? From what I remember, you did have metal shavings in your oil before the install right?

A member of this forum had his NA engine break b/c the OEM oil pump went out. He had a small legal battle with nissan to get them to replace the engine since all his mods were breathing mods they shouldn't have voided his warranty...

You do realize that checking the oil while or just after the car was running will give you an innaccurate reading? Our dipstick isn't the greatest either.
