APS TT + Aftermarket Radiators
Has anyone with the APS TT kit installed an aftermarket radiator? If so, which one, and what modifications were required to get it to fit?
I would like to get the Koyo 3 row radiator (largest) but I am unsure if it will clear the turbo-to-intercooler pipe on the passenger side. Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks
Chris

A little bit of trimming to the plastic shroud around the radiator fans needs to be done. I think Ed also said something about some a/c lines being a bit close. This was with a Koyo I believe.

Is this with the largest (3 row) Koyo radiator? Or the 2 two? I don't mind trimming, but I am concerned about the actual fan blades hitting the intake piping. Also, who is Ed, so I can contact him directly.
Thanks

Im running the exact setup. I have the Koyo Race Radiator and APS TT. They needed to put notches in the fan blades that are around 2sq.Inches. Other than that Im not sure but ZcarGarage did the install.

I have the APS TT on a G35 with the Koyo. My installer shaved the blades, and balanced them before putting them back in. Its a tight fit, but he made it happen. The A/C lines had to be modified also, but more for the point of getting the IC piping to the throttle body.

I ran an APS TT kit with a Mishimoto radiator. It required no modifications and I had zero cooling issues. Plus I drove the car hard every time it left the garage.
As far as aftermarket fans, I am running SPAL fans right now on my LS build.

Also, I measured my Mishimoto radiator face area today and is 14" H x 28" W, so I will try to get two 12" Spal Puller fans in there using this attachment kit.
