Default How good is the Turbonetics reflash?

Can people that are running the Turbonetics reflash with their single turbo kit please tell me how well it works for them. I'm trying to decide if I should get a seperate engine management system like the UTEC when I do my turbo. Has anyone had success by taking it to a tuner that does a custom reflash? I think proper mixture and timing are critical for performance and reliability.

Also can anyone recommend a tuner in Las Vegas for the Turbonetics install? I would like to find one that has done the install before. I'll take suggestions on Southern California tuners as well. Thanks!

Well I've been running the flash for 12k+ miles and it has been fine so far. I can say that the majority of the people are fine with it. A couple have had hiccups but its certainly the best out of box tune and its very safe from what I have seen from all the other kits. As for installers I don't know Vegas but Danzio Performance in Lake Elsinore Cali www.danzioperformance.com has done a BUNCH of these kits.

My kit runs fine with the reflash. It all depends what power you are looking to make. If your happy with 365rwhp then no need for another tunning solution.

365rwhp sounds pretty good I want to have money left over for suspension! My parents live 30 mins from Lake Elsinore, thank you for the information Miaplaya... sounds like I may have them do my install. I think I need to wait for Turbonetics to finish a kit that works with the 2006 however.

Best advice to to run with the stock reflash first. It's safe....dyno it and see how you like it. If you feel like you need more power, more boost, or additional tuning...then slap on an EU or UTEC.

This is great advice. This is what I am going to do. I am getting my car back on Monday and unless it is unsafe I will keep the reflash untill spring when I will go with the Utec. By then there will be people who have used and tuned the Utec. Good Luck.

There are no shops in Vegas that I would trust. LDL has done a Greddy TT on a 350Z before but the waiting list to get you car in there was 3 months last I checked.
