Turbo Seal Leaking Oil on Turbonetics Turbo ????
#61
My car seems to be having the same problem as jetpilots, at about 2:00am this morning i am driving to see sharif. Thats right I am leaving at 2:00am to arrive at approx 8:00am. Getting a retune on the car and having everything checked over. We will see how things go, wish me luck.

I was sent a replacment turbo by Reggie @ Turbonetics and had it swapped out yesterday. The exhaust smoke stopped. Soooo it did turn out to be the oil seal on the turbo failing by an improperly mounted oil return line from my turbocharger.
Thanks Reggie & Turbonetics.

We should stop this now before it gets out of hand but I will say I'd rather have my turbine seal fail and smoke up my exhaust then have my compressor seal fail and pump oil into my intake tract...

no, the exhaust resonator did have oil in it, the exhaust resonator issue was that it was suber uber small and restrictive. my sump pump was messing up causing my oil to back up into the intercooler/piping.
