There should be two Turbonetics equipped cars near 700 very soon. Both with built motors and T66 turbos..

BTW why dont they put a built AT tranny to see how it handles the power.

the suspension design is the difference. the Z has alot of patents on the design, but taylored more towards daily driving/car feel/and cornering ability. honestly, in stock form, our cars feel great but don't pull awesome numbers on the skidpad, part of which is the goofy stock tires. in about a month i will be trying to tackle these obstacles. (out come all the suspension design books) lol. will be looking for easy mods to help the tires plant better and give up nothing in the corners. if it isn't easy, i start choppin'!!

The only thing keeping people from 700whp is a Stage II fuel system, and the headgasket. It's increasingly difficult to keep the heads on the block once you head past 600whp+.

I am testing a Stage II fuel system that will provide enough fuel for 800whp or so.

I just ordered my emanage ultamite through forged internals (thanks Sharif). I have the APS TT set up with the bigger actuaters, and 650cc injectors. I made 620whp at 13psi but thats as far as i could get with the aps injectors and the unichip. So now i have the stuff i need to go to 16psi which should get me close to 700whp or more on 109 octane And yes i have a fully built engine, with 10.6:1 compression thats why i dont need much boost. Does anyone know who has the most HP on a street driven 350z?
from this thread. https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/167801-700-club-sgp-says-here-ya-go.html

We maxed out our Dyno (Which can only handle 820+RWHP)

Would it be possible to see your dyno chart? I wonder if the 10.6:1 high compression helps tq/hp by much compared to the built 8.5:1 motors, especially in the low end before the boost builds up.

Who says they do? If you try to run your 500whp++ Z in street tires you will spin. Same thing with a supra. Why do you think they have that saying that a 1000hp supra runs the same thing as a 400hp supra. 12s.

The people that go to the track prepared ie good suspension and a set of slicks are the ones that have traction. Same thing with Zs. Look at that Z in PR. He went 10.9 at like low 120s. That is very good mph vs et.

Yes the Z gearing will make it harder but it is all about being prepared.

As far as 700whp goes..... I can't wait to see just what one of these 6xx whp guys do when they go to the dragstrip. In theory they should all go 140mph.

How did you get 620whp using the unichip, and I can't get over 500whp? My tuner said the fuel was cutting off at any higher hp. I'm using an AAM fuel return, 12 lb actuators, and RC 650's. What did your tuner do to get that huge number?

He is using LOWER boost and requires less fuel to obtain that RWHP.

Or variances in the dynos used.
Also, IIRC, on RT's car, he runs exclusively race fuel, and a 10.3:1 CR so his tuner can dial in more ignition timing, and leaner AF ratios to achieve more power.

Z-

That makes no sense at all. Lower boost doesn't mean less fuel if you have better overall flow. The amount of power made is directly correlated to how much fuel you use, assuming the same A/F ratio values and timing. But like sharif stated you could slightly lower the amount of fuel used to make the same power by running race gas and tuning for a leaner A/F ratio, but that has nothing to do with less or more boost.

Sharif give us some info on the fuel system, i have been stock on the 626whp mark for over 4 months do to fuel system limitations.
I think that after we get a good reliable twin pump set-up we will see many 700whp VQs

People that are pushing the envelope and at this power level are going to be for sure fixing the traction/suspension issues, they will make it usable. Most of the guys we see on the street with 400-500 rwhp Z's havent done any suspension mods other then springs, they are just wanting the booooost and not thinking about other things lol. I know I would want to dial the suspension in at the same time the turbo kit is going on, getting anything I can get my hands on to increase traction...But in the end, most people want to spend the $$$ on the boost and care less about other things.
