Exclamation My dyno sheets before and after UTEC.

Guys,

Just to clarify, there had been some hot and bothered members convinced at 6.67 psi that 400.8 whp would be flywheel, but this graph should rectify that situation, hopefully.

Turbonetics reflash with exhaust, spacer, and no utec. The ultra low numbers are where BATLGROUND TUNING screwed my car up royally , the highest number was the first run: Yes, I strongly advise anyone in the Atlanta area to avoid this company at all costs, Knowledge is about 13 miles north of them, go there!!!

This is where I took it to Knowledge Performance in Kennesaw. The yellow is also on the Turbonetics reflash, first you will notice an actual decrease from the above graph, evidently the dynapacks read lower?

Finally here is the boost graph:

No, dynapacks read high because they are not load or wheel sprung weight based.

Very nice numbers!

I thought so too, but the same tune netted lower numbers??? Who cares, I am very happy, lol.

The Dynojet number is the more accurate of the two. The DynoPack numbers are way to high for the psi you are running. Also, I might be missing something but your A/F is kinda funky. It goes from to rich to to lean. Looks kinda dangerous to me.

It was dangerous, that is why I got it tuned: My numbers with that exact same tune on the dynapack were lower. The dynapack numbers are with the tune. Man, you guys are rough. I post dynos and you still doubt them, lol. The first dyno is untuned, the second is tuned. The numbers in yellow are with the exact same tune as the dynojet run, EXACTLY. The dynapack read lower for the EXACT same tune. I don't mean to come across nasty, but it said that in the very beginning of the thread. I am still under the impression that this particular dynapack was reading lower, but I understand why the dynapack should read higher, no wheels are on the car, but the car is calibrated for load, otherwise whp couldn't be obtained, if I am wrong about this sorry, this is just my understanding.

i wouldnt say avoid batlground, they are one of the top tuners in the southeast. they were the first to do a RB swap in a 350z. they do excellent work, just because they didnt get the best numbers for your car doesnt mean you should put them down.

plus ive heard bad things about knowledge also, isnt that the shop that installed all of pekings stuff and messed some things up?

True, they have positive attributes with other tuning mediums, but I hate a company that will outright lie to a customer. I was informed without a doubt they have tuned and can tune a UTEC. They basically charged me a butt load of money to retard my timing 20 degrees statically, literally that is what the map showed. Nothing else was done, if I hadn't unplugged the UTEC, without a doubt I would have blown my motor eventually and according to Knowledge, sooner than later. After showing my mechanic, he also was disgusted. The reason I am most upset is instead of correcting or better yet, finishing my tune, they chose to allow an acura nsx use the dyno and honestly told the tuner to rush it without any regards to me or my vehicle (main reason I am pi$$ed off). They also kept my utec software (which I had to make another trip to get back), crammed the UTEC into position and all around I have had to replace and or fix many parts due to a very very poor install.

I have spoke to Peking and feel as though his situation did indeed suck, but every shop will eventually have a dissappointed customer, the good ones are ones that step up and attempt to rectify the situation. There is much more to the situation with Batlground than I have mentioned, mainly because I am trying to decide whether or not to take legal action against them!!!

Agreed Battleground is a very popular place for work and dyno days.

And yes I had a bad experience with Knowledge, though like I stated my friends have not... Situation of course was different for them, but I agree with Craig... Everyone will have positive and negative reviews.

Oh and Craig's boost level still puzzles me

Is the 377whp run on the dynojet tuned? If so that sucks man, your A/F is all over the place. If its not tuned, then what are your new A/F's on the dynapack dyno's posted.

ON the dynapack rock solid 10.5:1 across the the board, I lost that sheet from the retune. Yea, the original reflash did a number teh car was detonating audibly, it was pretty bad, then Batlground got a hold of the car and quite nearly destroyed it.

Wow 10.5 is kinda rich for a "tuned" car, but what do I know....

i was tuned for 10.9 on the top end for winter. better to be a little rich than too lean and go BOOM!!! for the summertime i'll probably get it remapped to 11.3-11.5.
