REGGIE: You can tell from reading this thread that you have very few doubters here. Turbonetics Customer Service has been grade-A++++ from day one with this kit. And YOU 'DA MAN. It sucks that you have to deal with customers like this, but we all know they're out there, just waiting to pounce on well meaning company reps like you who bust their @$$ daily to make people happy. You're right though, some people there's just no pleasing. Keep up the good work man, we appreciate it.

Because just like this situation it always end up being a huge he said, she said battle. But unfortunately I cant stay under the radar after reading what Steven and Leaky have been saying here. Not only has Steven been unprofessional but he and Leaky have been telling half truths.

For those of you that are interested this is what REALLY happened.

In Dec 05 Steven from No Limit called me and informed me that the bellow on one of his customers pipes broke. Steven was in a hurry and wanted a pipe sent out A.S.A.P. Now lets think about this for a second. Name one company that you can call and say, Your part broke send out another part A.S.A.P. Turbonetics protocol would be to get the part back, inspect it, then repair and or replace it. If my T.V. broke I couldnt call Sony and tell them to just send me another one without sending it back for them to inspect it. With that said here is a copy of our Warranty.

"Warranty: TURBONETICS products are backed by the turbocharger industry's first and only "No Fault/ No-Hassle" warranty program. TURBONETICS will repair or replace, at our expense and TURBONETICS/SPEARCO products that fail, including products used in racing or competition applications, for a period of one year from the orginal date of purchase. Warranty is limited to TURBONETICS products and does not include progressive or subsequential damage and does not cover removal or installation labor or associated parts. Call for approval, WARRANTY (Inspection Authorization) tracking number and shipping call tag prior to sending the product to TURBONETICS. Our customer service representative will provide packing and shipping instructions."

So to help Steven out and go the extra mile I asked Steven to send me a picture of the pipe. And once I got the pic I would send him a new pipe priority overnight. I'm think that this a great gesture on my part. He wouldnt have to wait until I got his old pipe back. All he would have to do is take a picture of the pipe and email it to me. Is this so hard to do? If I've learned one thing from dealing with people like Steven and Leaky is that some people will never be happy no matter what you do. And its people like them who ruin it for everyone. So Steven sent the picture over via email and I upheld my end of the deal and sent him a new one out priority.

Two weeks ago Steven calls me and says hey man its Steven from No-Limit. Do you remember me? I'm thinking for a sec and then I remember he was the guy that I helped out in December with that pipe. Then I remember MIA asking me about him. And I honestly didnt remember him when MIA was asking me about him. I talk to over a hundred people a day. Steven then says he man whats up with your pipes. My customer pipes are rusting. I then say I have never heard of anyones pipes rusting. Are you sure its not from the road salt that you guys have out there. He then gets offended and says man this guy never drives his car. I'm thinking to myself really? Thats weird. He then says that he broke a v-band clamp. I said, really?

Steven then says hold on a sec let me let you talk to him. The guy (Leaky) then lays into me saying that this kit sucked since day one. Saying that he has fitment issues, pipes rubbing, rusting and v-band clamps breaking. I tell him that I'm surpised about the fitment issues. Out of all the kits that we have sold dont you think that other people would be having the with fitment issues. I then said, I'm curious how this kit is fitting on your car. Can you take some pics when the problem spots are so I can check it out? It kinda hard to know what he talking about without seeing it with your own eyes. He said ok. Then I asked him what about the v-band clamp. He said never mind the clamp I sourced it else where cause your clamps are cheap. I NEVER asked him to take a picture of a v-band clamp. Then he put Steven back on the phone. And I asked him was there anything else I could help them with. Steven said no. End of conversation........

So with all that said. If you want a v-band clamp all you gotta do is ask. It just sucks that you have to resort to being immature internet thugs. So please stop the name calling and if you would like a clamp, I wont hold this against you. I would be glad to send you one. I still have your address on file Steven. Just let me know what size clamp you would like.

Reggie Wynn
Turbonetics Inc.

whoa whoa whoa, I love how you just changed the end of the conversation. What you posted is 99% true. BUT, let me remind of you of how the end went. Before I even put my customer on the phone I asked you if there was some better sort of clamp that could be bought, and you said No. I said it fell apart and you said you couldnt send me one. You said word for word "you'll have to buy one from your distributor" I EVEN OFFERED TO PAY FOR IT AND HAVE YOU SEND IT TO ME DIRECTLY JUST TO GET IT ASAP!!!!! YOU SAID NO, YOU COULDNT TAKE PAYMENT FROM ME AND WHEN I TOLD YOU I BUY FROM KEYSTONE YOU SAID OK ORDER IT FROM THEM. They didnt stock it and that was the main reason I wanted it from you. You never offered to send it, you even said NO when I asked for it. I said word for word "reggie, cant you jsut send me a clamp or 2?" and you said "No, we dont have any problems with them, take a picture of it and i'll look at it"

Then you said "is there anything else?" and thats when I said "Fine, I'll just get it locally"

Lets talk Logic. If you offered to send it to me why would I have said NO??? the whole reason for this post was the fact you wouldnt send me a clamp. Thats why we're upset with turbonetics. People on these boards can think what they want, but I know for 100% fact that you didnt offer to send anything, and even told me No when I asked for it. I'd still take the clamp now!!! on top of the one I bought because He could really use 2 anyway.

Its a damn good thing I'm not Reggie. Cause with the attitude showed here by those two trolls I would have told them where they can put their clamp. Alas in the end I would always be willing to help even these two haters. Reggie sorry you had to come post here but thanks for posting your side of the story. As Kelly side its the few unpleasable customers that ruin it for everything. Now is there any doubt left you can call and order a clamp now you two?

PLEASE see where i'm coming from. Trust me, I've read all the great things on both the G and Z forums about Reggie and turbonetics, but in this case This was the final straw among a few problems. You act like we were posting about the missing parts and crap like that when he first got the car. NEVERMIND THE REFLASH OF THE ECU MAKING THE CAR RUN 12.5 AFR'S EITHER!!! I'm pretty leinent with customer service but after hearing there was nothing he could do about a stupid clamp, I was fed up as well was my customer.

yeah sure we'll believe what you have to say

Let's recap what you have posted so far:

SS pipes NEVER rust
Your Thermal Research pipes don't rust but Turbonetics do (made by the same company)
You continue to break v-bands but KNOW FOR A FACT your piping is aligned right
You can't FATHOM that Nissan changed AC compressors and that ONE bracket on a charge pipe doesn't affect ANYTHING else
Turbonetics turbos and wastegates suck
Reggie and their customer service suck

All that being said you're about as credible as Fidel Castro. Go away troll. Vote Ban.

Is this your way of asking for a clamp? Why would I offer you one when the end user told me that he didnt want one? You might wanna ask him since you werent around when you put him on the phone. Do you really think that I'm making this up?
Anyways man let me know what you wanna do. All of this he said, she said crap isnt getting US anywhere.

Im curious did the customer ever take pictures of the pipes/problem areas and send it to you Reggie? If not, they prolly wanted to align the pipes correctly before sending pics

Actually THAT WAS THE POINT OF THE PICTURES. If XXX hundreds of kits go out and the only people who are breaking clamps are the ones who had piping out of alignment doesn't it stand to reason that you might want to look at their alignment beforeyou have to ship them a clamp every 2 days. After seeing his posts its obvious he's not the most competent shop on the East Coast and has already admitted not doing Z stuff. I think his posts have guranteed it will stay that way. God help the Evo crowd with this guy

I think the productivity of this thread has seen it's end. There's no more need for the going back and forth, so I'm going to close it. I'm sure that leakyZ, BlackStevo8 and Reggie can work this out offline.

Good luck guys.
