Working under he car without a lift is a biatch! But from what I understand three inch is pushing the limit of what fits. It needs to be adjustable and the way to do that is the slip joints.
As for the tips fitting the kenstyle, they're adjustable. They slide in and out. As far as sound. Yes its very loud! Much louder then my old exhaust. You have to remember this is a 3in exhaust on each side. Its not for the faint of heart. My car sounds like a V8 but in a good way.
No more changes for me, Im done with cars for now. Im about burnt out. I kept the Kenstyle front and everything else but the exhaust.

ya steve you were having a few probs. a lift would have made your life alot easier. the 3" duals bairily fit under this car. i did not want to have a welded on flange anywhere as 1/2 of one degree off in the front will send the rear off a couple inches. this 3" dual system has to have the adjustability of slip joints. we also use true 3" i.d thick wall stainless, not a metric smaller size that has more clearance called 3".
Arghh I wish I could hear one of these in person. Sound clips never do justice to exhausts... I need to replace my GReddy Evo II cause it is choking my APS ST. I was looking to go with APS because... well it is made for my turbo kit. But I dunno they seem really interested in "mild" sound. I've decided I am over the whole quiet approach because frankly, the car isn't quiet up front either.
me and a few local guys and gals from the forum went on a trip to the beach this weekend. one guy had a cam and was shooting my car going down the road while he was next to me. i will see if he can put it on the net.
