Default Perfect exhaust for FI? I think so! Pics inside!!

Scott from SVRtech dropped off my new exhaust today. Its a TRUE three inch SS exhaust. I did a lot of research before I bought and I found that the SVR had everything Ive been looking for. It comes with three inch test pipes, yes these are included in the price of the exhaust. It also has four bungs welded in. Two for the factory 02 sensors one for your wideband and another for your tunner. The thing I really liked about this exhaust is the fact that is has resonators a a custom X pipe. Ive always been a big fan of the X pipe but had yet to see one on a three inch exhaust. Im really impressed with this setup and cant wait to get it installed. Im under the weather right now so that will have to wait. As soon as I feel better Ill post a install review and dyno #'s, cant wait! Another thing, this wasnt a sponsored part. So I didnt have to post this. Im just really impressed with this biatch! Thanks Scott for making this thing happen! Heres a couple pics.

Will do. His car was here so I got a chance to take a ride. I was REALLY shocked that it wasnt that loud! It sounded like my injen exhaust when my car was NA. Not that loud, but deep! The best part no popping or rasp.

I havent seen a APS in person. One of the reasons why I didnt buy one was no X pipe and I had to buy test pipes to go with it. I then would have to pay to have bungs welded in. With this one its ALL ready to go. Plus you got to love the look.

That's a nice exhaust. But did you hear it person? I have it's very loud. The aps 3" is a little quieter.

Please reread my post, yeah I heard it. Loud? Have you heard it in person? Are you maybe thinking of another three in. exhaust?

I'd like to see what a backpressure test would revel with that exhaust. In my opinion an x pipe is definitely a restriction in a forced induction system. It looks nice, good quality, but I don't think an X-pipe will do anything except for limit high end horsepower, and raise low end torque.

even if this were true, you say it like it is a bad thing, lol. on a street car a more useable power band is the most desirable. we have already seen improvements in every area of the powerband and helping really flatten the whole torque and hp curves. for a race car, you tune for just high rpm's. this will help broaden the curves to make it nice on the street plus large enough tubing to flow tons of air. the X pipe helps for sound cancelation too, these are the reasons i chose to use it.

Nice looking exhaust.

I was under the impression the X pipe was designed for V8s because of their firing order.

The person that has it bought it used from someone on the forums(failsafe I think). It is possible they told me the wrong name. My point wasn't to bash it. I saw it on the car and heard it and since you make the only exhaust that has an X pipe in 3". So far these are the only two 3" exhausts I've seen and heard. There is no need to get upset all I did was ask a question.
