Stock TN kit with upgrades...?Boost spiking?
...Here's my question on the TN set up...
I have a single exhaust (3inch pipe), SSR intake manifold (turbo manifold.. http://www.ssr-engineering.com/produ...intakemani.php )... those are the upgrades im worrying about. I hear that the stock TN set up spikes when opporating with exhaust up grades or intake manifold changes.... i just want to know because as i near my purchase for this set up...i dont want any issues to arrise...also given that my greddy piggy back is currently installed to balance in more fuel with the amount of air now coming in from my manifold....

The boost spiking only happened to the old ST kit and Reggie had sent out the fix for everyone. I believe if you order now you will get the update kit which will included the fix in it. So there will be no boost spiking.
thanks... so this means i should be fine upon install on my upgrades... and as of speaking to MIA...he stated to leave the piggy back disconnected and run the reflash only untill i complete additional tuning... when completing all tuning, im hoping to make 400 and some change @ 9.5psi.. i can get a good long slide when drifting at that rate!

Why don't you get the car tuned when you install the kit? Then you won't have to worry about the reflash at all.

That wouldn't be a problem at all...just don't get into boost on the drive to the tuning shop. A little self control is all it takes.

yea...the shop i have installing the kit does not have any dyno'ing capabilities. furthermore, i already have the emanage installed runing with the E0-1 boost controller which at the moment i am using to adjust my fuel to air ratio throughout the grid.... thats why i posted this...to see if i am alone in this voyage.... im sure i can simply lower my rates on my emanage close to the computers readings untill i can get into the other shop for dyno time.... may be a week or so after instal...

Also nice they are giving the boost fix.
But there are those who did not experience the "boost spike" that some others have.
hmmm...i see, well i guess its just the luck of the draw. cant wait to feel the gains in the car after its all done!
i assume the emange ultimate set up would not be that much different w/ the TN hook up. any persons here willing to elaborate on their findings with the TN an e- ultimate tunage?

Other than that, not sure what findings you are looking for exactly.
Way I look at it is a upgrade to the E-Manage Blue so it will do its job when correctly installed and tune'd.
Well Kelly is running the EU and at 9 PSI makes a consisten 400 RWHP. Peking is in the same area power wise. As for new kits they should all be shipping with the corrected piping now. If yours does not contact Reggie at Turbonetics ASAP and he can get them to you ASAP.
...just an update to this post....incase anyone else arrives at the same problem.... based on my set up..being with a 3 inch pipe and a custom intake manifold TN tolled me that they will give me the specs on repostioning the waste gate so that i guess it opporates on a different level preventing any issues... so upon ordering my TN kit next week i need to give them the order information so that they can fabricate the piping for the wastegate before i install it.
thanks everyone for their assistance....
