Can Stillen SC take 05 Vette?

Back on subject, I'm putting 410 lbs of torque down with this JWT kit and I will not beat an experienced driver in a vette on a 1/4 mile. Unless your car is COMPLETELY set up for drag, it's NOT gonna happen. I garauntee it. Have both cars.
PS, for those wondering I love my Z 10 fold to the Corvette, but off the line ... it's not even close.

NOTE: The newer Vettes and even older ZO6s can do 62 MPH in 2nd gear. We have to shift to third to get to that speed in Zs and Gs UNLESS regeared.
Trust me, anything shorter than a quarter mile and the Vette wins.
I have owned both cars and always raced them on the launch and the Vette wins everytime.
Once again, if it is 2006 or newer or an older, 03-05 ZO6, you will buy dinner. Now I can set-up your car to road race him and then I will give you the advantage. Watch our videos, we kill old and new vettes all of the time on roadrace courses. Good luck.
Videotape it!

here is a vid I took at my local track of a c6. this was his best run of the day and he did a 13.4. My worst run that day was 13.3. They can be beat, but this is about as slow as you will see them run. because as soon as they realize they are quick but not fast they will mod and those vette motors love mods and they are soon in the 11's

My point being it blew up due to Stillens fault.

Drag racing is a totally different set-up than road and track modifications. Different tires, suspension, camber, and FI or turbo set-ups. We build cars to make a perfect 500 WHP/550 TQ. If you want to compete against the Vette on something other than 0-63, we can do this for sure.
By the way, DON'T FORGET THE DRIVER HAS TO BE ABLE TO LAUNCH THE CAR from a stand still for you to be fast 0-60, 1/8 mile, or 1/4 mile.
And BTW, with street tires I used to be able to pull 4.3 seconds 0-60 with my Stillen, pretty fast for the street.
But the Stillen would be killed by my Z06s 3.99 sec. 0-60. And I know how to slip the clutch. Using a Beltronics!
Good luck.

I have both a STOCK 2005 350Z Performance Edition with a 6 speed and a 2005 C6 Corvette Convertible with an automatic and 3.15 performance rearend.
Only mod is a Magnaflow catback exhaust, but power gains are minimal with catbacks on the new Vettes.
I only went to the track once and on my 3rd & final pass (the only pass where my car was cool after a 1&1/2 hour wait) I ran a 12.57@110.67 on a 1.927 60' on stock runflats at 28# of pressure.
Even with the car hot as soon as I arrived at the track I made two passes and they were 12.90 & 12.99 at 107+ on 2.0 and 2.1 60' times.
Hope this info helps,
Howard
