the torque is incredible from the JWT kit. the torque hits instantly removing any turbo lag. but the vette squats like a little bit¢h out of the hole. also gearing is much different. torque is probably the same but the application of it is much different with stock tranny, suspension and gears.

i have raced a brand new Z06 on the freeway with my JWT kit and it was a dead tie until the speed limiter kicked in at 160mph. but off the line. it's just not gonna happen unless you have a Z built purely for drag.

The vette's wt ratio is favorable for drag racing? Get real, that's why the world is chasing the C6s like they did the C5s in GT1.

If the vette is stock it will come down to the driver. There are alot of diff gearing ratios from the factory on C5s too--2.73, 3.15 and 3.42. I have a friend that has the roots blower and 3.90 gears on his Z06--it's a head snapper.
