NO! this was just installed a week ago (6/3/06) and it's a brand new supercharger! Paid $4500 for it off superchargers4less in april.

 

Oh, this musta been another that was having a problem same as you about a week ago... I wonder if he got his problem fixed.

 

Well i have word from vortech and they will be replacing my blower with a new one and installing it for me. I just have to drive up there (95 miles), which sucks but i rather do that than anything else at this point because otherwise its just going to cost extra money and hassle and beating around the bush. If they follow through with this, I will do nothing but appraise vortech. We'll see what happens. I'm just waiting for a phone call back...cross your fingers for me!

Dont hold your breath, i was told i'd be in contact today and didn't recieve any phone calls, emails, nothing. I called 3 times today, left a message, sent an email, and a myspace message, and no return. I'm not trying to be impatient, just trying to get answers and get this out of the way, plus i need to get the time off at work. I hope this gets settled soon...i've recieved numerous emails in the past few days with alot of people having issues with the vortech supercharger. I'm hoping my experience can resolve alot of these problems people have PMd me about. Errrgh.

 

I know I said I would be in touch yesterday..but the days go by fast! I wanted to make sure I had a good answer before I got in touch with you.
