Greddy turbo
im new in the market of FI. I was browsing the greddy kit w/fmic. how realiable is this kit if I dont want to change anything else on the car. just basically bolt this kit on and get tuned.
Will it be easy to maintain as I have never had a turbo car before. And what will my gains be with stock internals and whats a safe boost psi with stock internals.
thanks in advance for everyones help.

I sent you a PM, but you will want someone else to install it unless you have done work on these types of things before. You dont want to install something and then have it blow up on you.

greddy kit is the Sheezy...i dont know why everyone is on the JWT kits nuts, your gonna change out all the stuf anyways. The greddy kit is the best IMO, because its tuner friendly, it a basic tuner kit, and you can open the wastegates easily
Well, you might not understand why "everyone" is on the JWT wave. I on the other hand doesnt understand why ppl are liking the greddy so much. The TN ST is much more attractive to me. You can get a much more complete kit, or you can get a tuner version and custom the kit for your goals. You get one big turbo with ceramic BB's and a great spool up.. Also, the umph when the turbo kicks in feels so much better than with two small snails.
And the costumer service you get with TN, great!
When it comes to running on stock internals I'd pick the TN over the greddy any day! The only advantage the greddy has over the TN is it will produce more power.. But I'd still take the TN and just upgrade for the T66 turbo.
TN for teh win!

I also like the sound better.

Sorry but I don't buy performance parts because of the bling factor.

mista350z,
everyone here is basically going to toot their own horn about how they have the best turbo or tt turbo kit. I mean do you honestly expect someone who owns XX brand TT kit to say buy the XYZ brand? Read up on all the kits and make up your own mind.

Take a ride in a built engine with a Greddy twin turbo then try the same thing with the TN kit...I think it will change your mind
I have driven them and I had a Greddy TT with a built engine and I will take the JWT over any of them. Personally, I totally agree that what it boils down to is what you like and what you want. As Gman said, I do not buy the Performance parts for the bling factor. I absolutely LOVE my JWT kit and would not want anything else. The Greddy was nice and the TN single is okay, I prefer the TT setup with less lag than one big turbo. Just my opinion.

First off, no one said anything about overdriving stock sized injectors. Second I feel it is more reliable than the Greddy because I personally have not heard of anyone blowing their engine with this kit and I personally blew my engine with the Greddy kit.
I think anytime that you run a F/I kit then you are taking away much of the reliability. Of course there are plenty of people who have run all different types of kits and have not had any problems. There is no one right answer to any question like this and do not get me wrong I have my opinion, but I did a lot of research and drove a bunch of cars before I made my decision.
I am not trying to start any argument here, everyone has their opinion and mine is that I would take the JWT kit over anything out so far and that it will be more reliable in the long run. Does that mean that you should not upgrade the injectors? No....I never said that. My car has a fully built engine, larger injectors, and cams. I feel like if you do this it should be done once and right. Build the car for more than you are going to use and you will be safer and more reliable than pushing the limits of what your engine is built for. Thats what I meant, maybe I should have expounded from the beginning.
Hope that cleared up what I was saying.
