Is it worth the TT upgrade?

If you want status amung the everyone else buy the more expensive car. To 99% of the world a 350z with 25k in mods is still a 350z.
Also take a look at how cheap Z's with 20k+ mods go for in our for sale section.... you can only recoupe 30-50% what you spend on mods if you are lucky... so if you are planning on selling it soon it might not be worth it.

In the end, if you have 30k in mods to your 30k car,, its still a z and 99.9% of the people that see the car would think thats a waste of money bc you could have a way sicker, and higher class sports car for that. But!!!!!!! you will get props from the Z owner,,, and trust me you may beat that 911 tt porsche , but that guy driving doesnt give a flying **** bc he could prob buy 5 of your cars, he will forget about you by the time he pulls into his 4 car garage at his mansion.
First of all, I get compliments and "props" from A LOT more people than just Z owners.
Second, if you buy a car just to impress people, you have a completely different set of issues. I bought my car because I wanted a 350Z. I don't give a flying *** what other people "think" of my car.
As for the 911 TT owner just shrugging a 350Z that just kicked his @ss off. Not so fast. I've run two 911 TTs (one modded and one stock) and both of them were pretty sore about it after they lost. One of them I talked to for a bit and he was pissed that he'd spent as much money as he did and still had to worry about getting pulled by a much cheaper, "lower status" car.
I don't think you can say that people who drive nicer cars don't give a cr@p when a cheaper car is faster. If I lost to a civic, I'd be pissed and I'd feel the need to "up my game" so it didn't happen again. Hence, I have a 350Z. There are hardly any street driven, cheaper cars that can hand me my ***, yet I didn't spend a small fortune making my car fast.

And honestly, ive been locked up for streetracing my last honda I had, and it did wonders for my future career in law enforcement, let me tell you!! 3 years out of college and im still not where i want to be bc of that! I have also had friends die in either illegal bike or car street racing so i am totally against anything like that. Now that im thinking about it, actually not buying a TT setup for my ride might be because of my past experience with illegally racing. I guess i figure im not going to be at the track every week, and having a stupid fast street car will only get me into trouble and provoke me to race on the streets like an idiot anyways. I mean really how fast do you need to go to and from work or whatever? I wouldnt even be able to appreciate the FI to its fullest. thats just me though

I'm no big street racer, but I have been known to have a little fun. I would just prefer to be extremely selective with who I run and where we run. This would never include racing on busy roads... Oh, and a Valentine 1 is a worthwhile investment.

You are close to Englishtown, what are you complaining about?

From what you sound like, you need a Vortech+tune for the pwer and lots of suspension/brakes/wheels work...
Thanks for the warning about the Englishtown, BTW.

Sounds to me like you're talking about the new GTR. If that's the case, learn what it's called before you put your deposit down.
