Default Turbonetics and aftermarket headers?

is there any way to use aftermarket headers with the turbonetics kit? i have top speed headers if that makes a difference.

Ive heard Alphaworks manifolds work with no modifications if thats something you wanted to do...

Ive always though that most aftermarket headers are for NA applications and allow to decrease the energy in the exhaust charge..for turbo applications you want the hottest and fastest moving gas to spool up the turbo so stock or equal length exhaust manifolds for turbo use would be best?

I have a hard time believing any headers work without modifying the downpipe in some way. Be prepared to have to do this in any case.

yes you can connect TN with topspeed,i have both of them working

thats strange...I remember reading your thread when you were installing your TN kit and you had to remove the topspeed headers cause they didnt fit!!

I'm assuming he had to modify the downpipe. (see my previous post)

People log on here saying their headers are working great but don't usually say they had to hammer the downpipe to make room, or bend it in another manner.
