Live on the edge, Julian...the car should be attempting to climb those front rollers. Double strap that thing down, and let it rip. I have always prefered a looser strap, so the tire has a better chance of climbing and biting into that front roller. Either way...you are doing the right thing...as ramp rates dont make much of a difference in peak whp.

We have run 680rwhp (DD numbers) with a 4.3L 350z at 180 ramp rate and haven't had any problems on 19s. Deflate the tires, strap the car down, then inflate them again. But you are probably already doing that. Just a friendly reminder

Naw, we live on the edge.....car is unstrapped at all times.

hehe..with our strapping system , we do all the strapping from the rear of the dyno, and its really easy, and very secure. The car is actually supposed to come slightly off the center line of the dyno, and ride up a little bit on the front roller. If you look closely, you can actually see the car rock forward slightly, and then back after I let off. This is the correct way to strap down and measure power on the DD.

im gonna jump into the dyno debate.

Do u guys know that dyno dynamics modifies dyno outputs for each market it supplies too.. Ring and australian branch (head office) and american branch and ask why your numbers dont compare to those oversea's.

In australia, 375whp will run 119-120mph.

Seems to be the BOV of choice for the PE. I have it also. Like it. It became much louder with a vented hood.

I too have the PE/HKS SSV combo. I think the sound of it was really wussy and high pitched. I was able to find some different fin inserts to change the sound at my local shop. Sounds alot better, it has a more traditional sound. They have a purple fin, and gold fin. I used the purple because after looking at the gold fin, it looks identical to the stock silver one. It was a fun 20$ mod.
