You did read the instructions to install this kit, right? Maybe you know too much about these kits and these cars that you don't have to do that.

Maybe you should read the instructions before installing your turbo.

I'm not "sucking tn's dick", just standing up for a reputable company who's reputation is being attacked irrationaly.

I also never stated that the Turbonetics kit is the "holy grail of all turbo kits". Each kit on the market has its own plusses and minuses, but none of them will work without a proper installation.

By all means do, but don't blame that manufacturer when you botch that install.

You're not getting my "opinion", you're getting facts. If sending you illustrated pictures and steps to relocate your PS cooler properly doesn't help, then I don't know what can.

The only flaw in the kit I see here is that they allowed you to install it.

are you retarded?how many time do i need ot explain it and show pics of it?

WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THOSE LINES , WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE LINES THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE POWER STEERING RACK.THE HARD LINES. NOT SOFT LINES IN THE FENDER OR AT THE FRONT WITH THE COOLER, DID YOU NOT SEE THE PICTURE I POSTED FROM TN'S MANUAL SHOWING THE LINE MAKING CONTACT.OPEN YOUR EYES

ONCE AGAIN, if you are not part of the solution, stay out of my post.

Are you?

I was actually posting my last reply (look at the post times) when you posted that last picture (which is pretty hard to make out, anyway). Your original explanation was far from adequate, and this picture only slightly helps.

I've never heard of this line actually contacting, much less rupturing, at that point. I'd really have to get a better picure of how yours is oriented and look how mine is.

On top of that, your confusion when referring to relocation of the PS cooler only leaves everyone to believe you didn't follow the directions on the kit install.

See above. I'll try to verify this on my own car, but that picture is extemely hard to draw any conclusions from.

I think the biggest part of the problem is your attitude. If you didn't come to the forms with a combative and sour attitude then maybe you'd get a better response. By opening a post in the way you did, of course you're not going to get the help you want. I can imagine you contacting turbonetics with this attitude on the phone. If you called me in this manner I would be inclined to hang up on you and block your phone number.

If Chimmike, the biggest monkey of them all can install one of these without screwing it up too bad, anyone should able to do it.

Thanks for actually trying to help instead of belittling me like almost everyone else.

This is my car we worked on and that was over 5k ago. It worked and it wont cost you a thing. Only time and patience. Good luck!

The line is steel ----But I took it off so I could flush it good with a non-oily solvent ---I used A/C flush cuz it was handy but laquar thinner would be good too---Then just a little swipe with some emery cloth---Wipe it again with solvent then braze with a flux coated BRASS rod. Like I said --I was in a bind but its been runing fine for over a yr and prob will never fail

Why because i had ****ty experience and i am pissed off about ?do you think i started out with this attitude? Did i say " gee, lets go drop 5k on somthing so i can just randomly hate the company that i bought it from". Or better yet , did i get on here an throw my atttude at you ? No i sadi i dont like the kit, and once again, you butted in my post to call me an idiot, say I have no bussiness installing my own kit.I used to be asc certified, i owned my own shop for 2 years , i did all my own labor, and i am damn good at it. so really , unless your dad owns turbonetics, i did not say a word to you. so really , maybe your the one who needs to check his attitude. I had a problem, which as i now see is very common, and i asked for help, and i return i got attacked .... Great place guys, real nice comunity your working on here.

To those who helped me thank you very much, you saved me alot of time and effort with your expeirince. but quite honestly from now on ill just figure it out my self , its not worth taking a beating just because i dont aggree with the popular consisus .....
