Im in no rush man. After not having the car all summer, I am thankful everyday I get to drive it. I wont return to the track until I do some line locks so I can really heat up those slicks. Im hoping to go towards the end of the season but there is a small chance I may not make it. In time, I'll get there, and we will all see what it can do, for now Im simply enjoying the power

I'll have some more as the engine gets more miles on it. While I am hitting it, Im not going to crazy on this standard dino oil. More miles anda switch to Motul (thanks again Sharif!) and I'll start messing around more. I have a nice 996 Porsche TT with an exhaust and GIAC chip in my sights....

It's no secret, that motul is probably the best motor oil ever. Super rediculously high moly content, which (as MoS2) is a great high temp lubricant.
Alberto, mrtomcat showed me his line locks, and the install doesn't look too bad at all. I bet you could get it done in a couple of hours easily.
Someone made the comment of how many views this thread was getting in a short period of time...... well it's obvious, we're all living vicariously through alberto lol

I dont-but mrtomcat has posted 2 or 3X pics and good info on his set-up. I'll do a quick search again tomorrow in the drag section because Im tired now and couldnt find it....info is out there though.
I seem to have a decent following on the boards huh, lol. This post has gotten way more views than any of my drag runs, and even my engine blew thread which IIRC had over 6000 views. I think people just like the pics and vids

Larry at SP has braided lines for my line lock install, I just never got around to going up there to get them. I should do that and we should have a line lock install party before we go to the track.

Tom,
I am curious, that website says it is NOT for cars equipped with ABS… Have you disabled yours, is there some type of trick or you are just ignoring that statement from the manufacturer?
At this point if I continue to drag race, I will need a similar setup, but definitely not inclined to get rid of my ABS.
