As I said. If he is running 17 PSI without a boost controller and stock injectors e should stop driving the car and check the boost signal to the wastegate.

well the car is still being tuned, as far as going with the larger injectors with the TN kit and what not...i would much rather wait for the stage 2 kit. From what ted told me he said the accuator is the problem its not releasing air thats why the car is boosting so much. We are still waiting on that so i guess in the mean time all i can do in the mean time is wait and ask questions with out being flamed

MIAPLAYA already gave a suggestion as to why its boosting to 17psi. You might try having them check the boost lines to the wastegate.

...although I find it hard to believe a shop like this would miss something so simple.

the line should run from the nipple on the turbo directly to the lower port on the wastegate. Maybe, they installed the fitting into the upper port of the wastegate....that'd be a problem!!!!

also, do you have the wastegate relocation pipes? installed?

My money says that is te exact problem. The boost line should be going to from the compressor outlet to the lower wastegate port (furthese from the chome top section and logo). If it is going to the upper port (closest to the logo) the wastegate is being held closed. That port is for a boost controller.

The problem is that Ahmad doesn't know actuator from turbo, compressor from turbine, or 850hp from 400hp. With his extensive banking and mortgage background, he should certainly know the difference between George Washington and Ulysses S. Grant, because he challenged me for fifty bucks! :word:

what about the wastegate relocation pipes? are those installed?

still 17 psi....something's not hooked up right or you have a broken wastegate. my vote is for "something's not hooked up right."

my vote is for "he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about and they tuned it to that" or something along those lines.

...and the turbonetics kit doesn't have an actuator either. It has an external wastegate.
