Default My Built Motor with Turbonetics Is Almost Done

All my parts are now @ Sharif's. My car made 410rwhp/410rwtq @ 9.5psi before the OE motor went. Now I have the built motor with Arias ED pistons 9:01, and Eagle H-Beam rods. I have also installed the Aplphawerks headers and 550 injectors. Everything on the exhaust side has since been Jet-Hot coated with the 2000 coating. We are going to turn up the boost as far as we can go on 93 octane without affecting the OE powerband. I want it to make power all the way to 6250rpm. As soon as this thing is installed and tuned I'll post the dyno charts. hopefully it will be done next Friday. Anyone care to venture a guess on what power I'll be making?

Are you using stock cams? If on stock cams I am guessing you might hit 500rwhp.

Yeah.... stock cams. The only mods are as mentioned above except I am using a UTEC. I'm guessing 450whp. I hope your right and I'm wrong.

450whp wouldn't be shameful. It's still 90 more than what my car made with only the kit installed on my stock car. I really hope I can make that much before the powerband takes a sh*t.

Did the car do the 410whp on the Dyno Dynamics back when the correction was being added? Or only using a STD correction? Regardless non corrected (for Dynojet #'s) on Sharif's dyno Id say 400whp would be good. If you then went to a Dynojet and did the same 5th gear pull and same correction like I did you may gain around 50-60whp, putting you right at 450-460whp which would be great for a stock cam + TN set-up. Congrats on almost being finished I know you want your car back....

Yup, this build project will be a great test of the basic TN turbo kit. I too, am hoping for 450whp on our dyno (about 475-490whp DD), making power nearly to redline. At some point, the backpressure monster will appear, and cause a power drop-off. But regardless, it will be a fast car, that will be fun to drive. Larry can always upgrade to StageII once TN completes the R&D, or switch to a different kit as his leisure. We just want to get him back on the road!

I'd be damn impressed with 450whp on that dyno-would make for one fun street car, more than capable of high 11's (easy) and 120mph+traps...

Let's keep out fingers crossed. Whatever power I make this combo of parts will be proven to produce X amount of power. People can build this combo and know what to expect from it. The parts list consists of Alphawerks headers, Topspeed Pro-1 Exhaust, Deatschwerks 550 injectors, and a UTEC.

TN Tuner kit: $4400
Install: $1000
Alphawerks headers: $600
Deatschwerks injectors $300
TopSpeed Pro-1 exhaust $400
UTEC $900
Tune $650

Total: $8250 for a very complete kit installed and tuned.

Still thousands less than a TT setup like the Greddy + exhaust and install.

That depends on what kit you are referring to. The Stage 1 kit does not need a built motor no. But Stage 2 will produce power levels MUCH beyond the stock motor. Goal for Stage 2 is 550 RWHP and 550 ft/lb tq out of box. From what I'm hearing its going to make that and have room for more.

I do have a CJM return fuel system.... I didn't list it because it wasn't a power adder. Maybe I should have listed it.

......

i hope that stage 2 kit has a healthy power band and it doesn't look like a supra dyno graph

Is this the same famed stage 2 kit that we've been hearing about for over a year now?
