Default Fluidampr Harmonic Dampers



What do you think about this product sounds way more safe then UR pulleys does anyone recomend this or have on?? I think it will be a good addition to my build.

MAX goal or 550rwhp APS TT built motor Utec.

there's a good thread discussing this somewhere on here already, maybe no more than 3-4 days old

general consensus is this is the best way to go for big horsepower builds.

There's some debate about how well it actually works and what it actually does, but I look at it this way.

Plenty of potential upside (as far as engine longevity goes) and no apparent downside = a good investment.

After cracking my second crank pulley.... I ordered one yesterday.....I take it the stock pulley doesn't do we'll with higher rpm applications...

A lot of f-body/vette guys run these...my buddy owns a shop that specializes in late model gm cars (ls-x motors) and he has built several motors and has used these on almost every one of them...i guess he pushes his customers to get them.

ATI Torsional Super Damper is the one he uses.

I thought the z was dampened from the pulley?

I have running one on my built motor and tracked it hard numerous times. I think if the top fuel drag guys run this product it is worth considering for FI on our cars.

So it dampens the crank vibrations via moving fluids? Where can i get more info besides the material on Summits website?
