This is the planned parts list I have for my turbo setup. I figure I'd like to make about 475whp on low boost and closer to 550whp on high boost. maybe get close to 600whp on race gas....maybe.
I plan on doing the work myself, I'm competent enough to work it out. I already have a SPEC Stage 3+ clutch installed to handle the extra power.
I've done 2 installs myself now, and have experience with tuning (some of the stuff my friends and I do can be found on www.sloppymechanics.net ), and a tuner and dyno availible... So please, I'll welcome comments from Sharif... but I'd prefer no posts about how a specific vendor can "hook me up" with an install/tuning/whatever. Thanks

The Greddy doesn't come with a blow off valve

I should went into better detail (and I did a lot of assuming, that people would figure out some things)... a lot of that was on my mind, but I didn't specify... I'll add it in the post above.
2 BOV's is uneccessary IMO, whats wrong with one?
Stock cams to help you achieve 550whp+ is pushing it, would be much easier with cams.
UTEC for boost control sucks, only a few people have done is successfully, Sharif couldnt get it to work, so I went with an EBC-you could do the job with a good MBC to save $$$$.
I didnt see a fuel system on the parts list

And why did you suggest 650cc injectors over the 750cc's? He could do the 750's and have more room for power later....

With 750cc injectors you might want to consider an ECU Flash for injector scaling and idle bump. If you stick with the stock intake plenum and/or plenum spacer combo a vacuum block such as this http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5...de=350Z_INTAKE helps keep everything neat.

Yep, fuel system is a must, nismo thermostat, also recommend the innovate wideband. If you go with the oil cooler, make sure you get the one that is adjustable since you live in PA.

I see what you're saying tho. Maybe a better idea would be 1 BOV and use the extra cash for that rev-up oil pump

Boost controllers and BOVs are small stuff... I was looking for the insight on things I haven't heard of (like this cooling mod and the rev-up oil pump), so I can add them to be a little safer.
Read the thread about the cooling mod. Very nice idea indeed. I shouldn't have much of a problem doing that on my own. Likely when I pull the motor for the build it could be done with little issue.
Sharif sells the parts for the cooling mod, get a hold of him to make that part of the build easier
BTW-even Nismo cams-which dont require shims would be beneficial over stock cams. A customer of Sharifs made GREAT power and had a nice flat TQ curve with Nismo cams....just a thought for you, you can even try to find them used to save $$$. Good luck.

As far as the injectors.... he can go up to 650 with Deatschwerks injectors for $300 and have drop in injectors with no harness wiring. That would save him about $500 in wiring labor and injectors right there.

I was under the impression the Nismo cams did require the springs and shims, tho. I'll consider it.
