Blown Engine Stage II SC

There are tons of people out there running various stages with assorted supporting mods...many for quite some time, and many on higher mileage motors too. I'm sure other Stillen owners would like to know that others AREN'T having problems, not to mention potential owners of the kit. Those of us that haven't had problems thus far, have probably all subscribed to this thread, even though the original poster hasn't done shit as far as updating us. Anytime you hear about a motor blowing, you can't help getting nervous. Posts by people that haven't had problems helps to ease your mind a bit. Posts from people that don't even have an FI Z/G are the pointless ones, wouldn't you say? Stick to trolling the lighting and interior forums...

Or, it could be that someone just finally decided to call you out on your off-topic and idiotic post where you suddenly decided you could speak for the F/I community, of which you aren't even a member, and have no stake in. You weren't giving your own opinion, you were trying to act like people would actually care what you had to "share." Were all 2,656 of your other posts equally as constructive? Congrats on being yet another great asset to the forum/s...lol...

i never stated that stillen superchargers were terrible or that they were unreliable. trip, i always thought you were a bit more mature then this. ive even sent people your way to buy topspeed products off you. i am a bit disappointed but i guess i shouldnt expect too much.

Simply put, next time just make sure people know it's your opinion. No need to act like you're representing the majority when that isn't the case. I'm sure you're excited about going boost soon, but remember that this is the F/I forum, not The Lounge. I, for one, won't tolerate people talking out of their ass in here.
If you feel the need to call someone out like you just did, then I guess you should be prepared for a response, instead of suddenly playing the role of a victim. If that's your next move, then you should prob just keep those comments to yourself in the future. Anyways, let's kill this, and get this thread back on track.

The car is finally in the shop. Got a majority of the funds saved up. As soon as the shop tears the engine down, the extended warranty company will be sending a rep to review the car. Hopefully I'll have the car back in 4-6 weeks.

Wow, that blows... You have been carless for 3 months huh?

What good is a warranty if they cap it at 3k? What would have happened if a rod went through the block? I guess 3k is better than nothing. How much is a short block and gasket kit from nissan? Does it state in your warranty papers that 3k is the limit? If not they have some explaining to do along with stillen.

What shop in Louisville are you using to pull your engine etc?
I've been looking for a shop that does good JAPANESE engine work in this area, all I can find is muscle car engine builders.
