Replacing pulley bearings
Has anyone ever replaced pulley bearing before? On my vortech setup it feels like it takes alot of energy to spin the pulleys. Maybe im just used to skateboard wheels but has anyone tried to replace the bearings with easier moving ones? I would think this would cut down on parasitic losses immensely
I had to change myheadlight bearings a few weeks ago, those suckers work great at night now
. I dont have a blower, but is there actually bearings in a charger cause I know my greddy turbo's use oil to sort of create a bearing.

Generally if a brg is hand spun and spins more than a turn or 2 its wore out ---A free spinning brg is a worn brg------What u have to feel for are rough spots.
Either way it can be replaced if need be.
The above goes for all brgs---Like wheel brgs. If u spin ur rotor and it continues to spin after u quit spinning it , then ur brgs are going or in the case of Timkens loose or both

Thanks, was not aware that the bearings were supposed to feel like that. My pulleys feel solid and smooth so I guess they are in good shape. There is zero play or roughness
