You need to go to Forged Performance and have sharif tune your car. Irshad is a shady fellow and does not know how to conduct business in my opinion from my past dealings with GRD. I too will not do any kind of business with GRD....

well i would wait to see both sides of the story,

1 you bought a used part, which can create a hassle
2 lets see what they have to say about this
3 sorry for your troubles but who knows what really happened

i heard mrc is pretty good i would pm julian he will take care of you

I'll wait for the other side of this story. I really want to side with you but I had an okay experience with Tuan, Irshad, and Earl. Took a little longer than normal bc they are always backed up, but otherwise can't really complain. I think your first problem was that you bought a used Vortech kit...

im surprised you even went back for a tune after your run around.. i would've flat out went to a different shop. Who gets fed up about a belt slip and tells you to fix it yourself????

Theres always two sides to a story, Brandon you seem to be leaving some major details out.

1) I qouted you a $1000 for install, the balance you paid at pickup was for the missing Vortech parts that i had to order for you. I had specifically told you that i have not yet been invoiced from Vortech and do not know how much the parts are, and that you will have to pay for them once they come in.
2) As for the car taking too long you keep leaving out the fact that you rescheduled 4 or 5 times because the car was at the body shop, and finally i told you that just drop it off when u get it back and we will take care of it as time permits.
3) Tuning was never included in the deal, just because you were upset we gave you a discount on tuning from $300 to $75 for the tune. AND AT THIS POINT YOU SAID YOU HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AND YOU ARE SATISFIED.
4) As for not tuning your car right away, you missed 2 appointments. We rescheduled one because our dyno had an issue, but u still missed the other 2.
4)As for your crank pulley issue, i never said it was GRD's install error. You never brought it back for us to look at. Now months later you are complaining that the pulley was scratched, you paid someone else to replace it. The first time you told me about it was today, BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO FINISH YOUR TUNE FOR $75 AGAIN OR FREE.
I explained that if we were the only ones that worked on the car, i would have happily given you another crank pulley and installed it for free if we had scratched the pulley. Or if you brought it in and said there's an issue with the car.

The main point your forgetting to mention is that you want your car tuned for FREE. And the fact that your belt was slipping on the dyno, and you did not want to pay my tech to replace the belt, but would rather do it yourself to save money. I totally understand that and can respect your decision.
But to call me and say you want to finish your tune for $75 again is not fair at all. GRD's dyno rate is $150 an hour and thats what i told you.
Ask any of our other customers if they have ever paid that low of an amount.
When i gave you the $75 deal on tuning you said that would make you happy and everything was clear, now you want your second tune for $75 or you will not be happy is not right at all.

Ok, I've got the guy that I referred to you that was with me at time of quote and even he thought it was bogus. so don't lie. if you quoted me $1500 for the install i woudlve went to Sound performance....
2) I didnt reschedule 4-5 times lmao.... I missed (1) apt,..... ( 1 ) apt. you rescheduled me twice.... cuz of the dyno going down and then u were already packed with APPTS.....
3)TUNING Was in the deal, thats the ONLY reason I let you guys do the install, I didnt want to drive it untuned... but had to do it anyway for almost a month.....
4)After being charged 50% over the estimate, why would i go back to you when i could be charged for looking at it too?
%5)I said I'd be happy to have it FINISHED being tuned for free after paying that much money...., but then said I'd be ok with $75 again, its the principal and as far as me being HAPPY with the First $75 that was to "shut me up about saying this ordeal" Check out the responses on this thread and my350z, others see im right.... but good day to you. guess u have a free spot 2mrw at 12pm

didnt you think 1000$ to install a used vortech kit that wasnt purchased from the above shop was too cheap. i have never heard of a such a low rate for a vortech install including tuning.

if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is....

i would assume there was some miscommunication between the shop and the consumer

good luck to both of you.... and bwicked you should have known better....

1000 dollars is cheap on a vortech install plus tune. should be more like 1600-2000 for install/tune. i cant believe anyone would tune a vortech for 75 dollars either. WTF??
