Ok Cool, So... I could set it up to switch maps on the Utec if it sends a 12v signal... That would be cool... I could go from the meth map to my 96 oct map and stay safe

Damn.... My car is starting to sound like a meth head

Im actually looking into the same kit as Triji right now, would be running it with the 3.12. I also have a Utec sitting at home right now. Did you say that you could hook up the snow performance kit to the utec and let the utec control it?

This is what I am useing as soon as I get my kit here... I just ordered my kit yesterday. I will be taking pix of my install for a DIY guide as well.

http://www.snowperformance.net/product.php?pk=3

It should not take more than 2 hours to install from the instructions I looked at.

You would want to find pure methanol (aka heet at walmart) which can be found for between 3-8 dollars a gallon typically at various stores and shops and drag strips...even farms have it to make biodiesel...and mix that with distilled water...

if its a little off your afrs will be a little off, shouldn't be an issue unless your tuned on the ragged edge...your afrs change with the weather...if your concerned about getting it perfect buy a hydrometer and test it...i have one that I keep at the shop so i can ensure i make up perfect %...

I am debating on whether to get this or not. I am planning on upgrading to the 2.87 pulley and with my list of mods, I should be over 400whp. With any type of injection, I know I have the ability to pull more power out of the motor and be just as safe as a lower hp tune. But, since 400+whp is already considered risky for a stock block, I don't think I would tune it for more power. Therefore, I would probably only run water/alky and not meth. Does a supercharged car really need injection? If I ran 100% meth, how much more power would I be able to get out of of it, if my stock tune was 400whp?

Also, there are several different combinations of fluid injection. Can someone list the pro's and con's of each?
Straight Water
Water / Alcohol
Alcohol / Meth
Straight Meth

its not always about power with injection, its about making power safely, your motor will likely last much longer even on a conservative 400whp as you will get virtually zero knock whereas with no injection you are likely to come into issues with knock especially on those hot summer days...

to be completely honest, most kits out today are very good, hard to really buy a bad kit but that doesn't mean there isn't kits that are better bangs for your buck but aquamist certainly make great kits, im very biased to snow performance since I am a dealer for them but i have nothing against a aquamist if you have the money for one...

\\I'm not not an expert on all the kits, but I know that aquamist is one of the most expensive, and to my knowledge, has the most elaborate control to keep the water/fuel ratio consistant,... it receives a pulse rate signal from a fuel injector and pulsed water in at a similar rate... not just a water hose dumping water in the intake...

I run an aquamist, love it
