I have a couple questions pertaining to equipment used.I have a older stage 1 snow performance pump and their solenoid for up front. I want to use my kit for safety and cooling only and not for added hp.
1.) Can I use 3/8" braided hose as a feed from the pump to solenoid ? ( doing rear mount pump )
2.) What size nozzle should I run ? ( Currently at 15 psi boost)
3.) Should I run straight water or 50/50 ?
4.) If straight water can I get away without having the car retuned ? Thanks Dave

1. should be fine
2. everyone's setup is different, you're probably going to have to play with a few different nozzles.
3. Neither, straight meth
4. if you run straight water, sure. I think that straight water injection is a waste of a meth/water injection kit. Sure you'll cool the intake charge a bit, but if you have an efficient intercooler, that should cool your charge nicely anyway.

Sweet thanks for the responses. By playing with different nozzles should I be monitoring my a/f gauge and adjust accordingly ?

What kind of fluid do you plan on spraying?

Don't use straight water. It works but you would be better off using -20 windshield washer fluid. It doesn't have a lot of methanol in it so it won't have a big impact on air fuel if that's what your worried about. It will only drop you air fuel a half point. A little extra fuel won't require a retune if you don't want to retune for it just yet.

If you haven't seen it yet. Check out our new competition trunk mount tank.

Features Include The Following:

*3 gallon capacity
*Dimensions are 14" long (not including the 1.25" rear sump) by 10.5" wide by 7.5" tall
*Aircraft style locking cap with built in flapper vent.
*Large cap allows you to access the inside for those who want to stuff the tank with safety foam
*Built in virtual sump with dual 3/8 npt rear pick up's
*Dual pick ups allows the use of a second pump for our high horsepower guys who max out one pump - sounds crazy but it happens!
*Pump is reversed under the tank for a clean over head appearance
*Reversing the pump under the tank allowed also to also break up the floor of the tank to help control fluid slosh

After looking at some posts I think i'll experiment a bit and see which one works best. My big thing is I wanna try and avoid a retune because that involves traveling pretty far to do so since there are no well established tuners comfortable with nissans around where I live. Thats a really clean set up ya posted .

Does anybody have any pictures of where they installed their meth lights? I'm having a really hard time figuring out where to mount those lights. Green for spray ON, and Red for low fluid. If anybody can post their pics on their setup where they mounted those lights that would be great.

Here's where I mounted my status light. I don't have a low level light since I use the washer reservoir.

Thanks, if everybody else can post up their pics where they installed theirs that would be great. I do not have any a-pillar gauges so will most likely not mount my 2 lights up there. Even so it still gives people ideas. Thanks for the pic.

Also...do you think the 2.5 gallon reservoir will fit behind the stock bose sub compartment behind the drivers seat? That space is totally empty and would be a good spot for me to put that.

This thread is incredible and needs to be stickied. Definitely learned alot from it, don't know why this thread died off.

I'm actually planning on running straight meth or denatured alcohol injection. I'm using a used Coolingmist Trunkmount kit and a cm7 nozzle equivalent to a 750cc injector with almost 14lbs of boost.
