I just wanted to clear something up about Kyle. I found an old receipt from my original build and it turns out Kyle did not charge me the Arias or CP piston price for the Wisecos. He did tell me they were better, but he pm'ed telling me that he never had an issue with them and has built cars with over 800whp with those piston. Sorry for the wrongful accusation Kyle, but I jumped to conclusions when Mark told me you were ripping SGP off. I should have looked at my receipt more closely. With that said I would have prefered Arias or CP pistons even though you haven't had any problems with the Wisecos.

My response

Upon diagnosing a ton of oil leaks ( SGP never test drove the car prior to pick up ), I drove the Z back to Delaware from Texas, had to put 1/2 oil in the motor in Virginia.

Gman,

I am sorry to hear about your experience, and I am not taking sides but, I just wanted to say that I sent my car to SGP Racing based on old posts that you and a few others put up. I even sent you 1 or 2 pm’s way back and asked you a few questions about the FCON and you had nothing but great things to say about Mark and SGP. I am sorry that you are going through all this, but the story sounded a little different the last time it was told.

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/179516-preliminary-numbers-with-hks-fcon-513-6whp-and-481tq-16psi.html

I have had nothing but great experiences with Mark, and SGP and would never have found them if it was not for you and others who posted about them. So now, I have been trying to figure out how this all went so side ways for you, when Mark seems to go above and beyond for all of his customers.

Although the car was running better it was not right. I was just happy that I could go WOT without the car sputtering and bogging all over the place cause of the rich condition when I had the EU. Also Mark told me the idle and rich condition would fix itself after the ECU had time to relearn itself after I called him to tell him the car was running rich and had a bad idle. Was I not to believe him? So yes I made that thread, but and I did state it was running 11.5 a/f ratios, but that's because Mark told me that's was it was. I didn't really pay attention to the wideband during the tuning because I was not in the car, I don't know how to read dyno's, and while street tuning I was the one driving. I realized the rich condition after Mark had already left back for Houston. Also the black soot on my bumper made it obvious of my richness.

I tried to find my old post where I posted that my a/f at idle was in the 13's, but I couldn't find it. I am gonna search more.

Here's something from May 2006 where I posted about a rich condition.

its not like he got a raw deal and posted the next day, the man has been waiting for 1 year to tell his story. Sharif and Sam know his story, two of top Z/G tuners/installers on this country including i would say maybe 5 more guys.

I didn't need to see Mark's post to believe if Gman is telling the truth or not.. everyone knows what Gman has been through.. we just didn't know who was behind it.
lol, are you serious? i never said anything bad about Gman and NEVER said he was lying, what are you talking about man? i respect his side of the story just as well as anyone else does, i said i was just trying to make it a fair fight since Gman had the crowd entirely in his favor (i know that's what i would want in your position too, lol no doubt)

"your 43 post count gives you some leeway in this, but people wouldn't be backing up Gman unless he was a established member. I for one, don't know the guy personally, but his conduct on the board has been great, and I would give him the benefit. SGP has had problems in the past."

motormouth are you serious? why does my post count matter whatsoever? that's definitely the nerdiest thing i've ever heard in my life man...everyone here is giving opinions so why can't i? i have been the only on really standing up for the side of this story that wasn't there because of my first-hand accounts with Mark, i haven't said anything bad about Gman at all and have supported his story and hoped for a resolve very soon. every shop has had problems, mark, sam, sharif, gimme a break if you think others haven't. i've been following gman's posts for a while cuz he was one of the few back in 2005 that was doing a built motor and i looked at his project for support. either way guys, i said i'm here to view now that mark has posted back, so leave me outta this

Here's another post about my idle although I didn't mention anything about running rich, but just to clarify my a/f was in the low to mid 10's. Although safer I don't need to be running that rich considering all my mods and built motor. Running 11:5 is safe enough with everything I have.

I found it. These were post April of last year.

https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...5&postcount=10

And this was in the same thread.

Guys I am not making this chit up. I have no reason to lie. The only thing I might have posted incorrectly are the actual dates of events, but that's because I am going off my memory for chit that happened over a year ago.

I won't mention any screen names, but there was also a 350z that was worked on by Mark at Forged the same time I was there. Sam went to Forged to fix that one as well. You know which car I am talking about? It is black.

yup, i remember the car... but, i'll let others step up to the plate if they want to tell their stories... all i can say is that i felt for ya when you were up here... at least you had a good meal at the infamous Marietta Diner... funny how everyone who visits Forged ends up eating there... *haha*

i tell ya, i feel so very lucky to have sharif in my back yard...

YEP , Mark was stupified when he saw the picture. I had oil gushing out of the area and even though Mark offerred to fly to Philly to fix the issue ( said he was tuning a car in NJ soon ) , I just wasn't too comfortable with that.

I ended up paying a local guy to fix it and thank god the motor didn't have to come out. Still more money out of pocket to fix an oil leak the right way.

This may be true, but I am sure that you have heard of the countless cars that Mark has worked on from other shops all around the country as well!

who cares... the thread is about his horror story.. not the ones he fixed..

just because a murderer kills a man who was going to kill someone else doesn't make him any less of a murderer
