How hard it is to ship something considering the shipping company picks up the parts from SGP?
Dude I highly respect both Sam and Mark. I too will pay $$$$ for my stuff to run right. Hell I paid $1200 at a recently closed shop for a simple Vacuum leak and changing my brake pads (that I had already) and they didn't even tighten my front lug nuts. That could have killed me!!!! They didn't put my front undertray on....feder linings came off on the hiway...u name it!!!
I just feel that people love drama and sometimes their comments about "SGP should reply" are retarted and useless.....I hope this gets resolved and u have better experiences elsewhere....I personally have had horror stories with my VQ and am now going with old reliable American muscle.

Hey man.. Sorry.. I never realized this but.. This is a serious pattern from SGP.. They did most of that **** to me.. I would post.. The only problem is I have ****** Mark owes me.. So if I did hell see it and *** my car up intentionally..
LOL.....I"m driving from ****ing Kansas to GTMotorsports this friday because Mark has yet to fix my tune after months of promises and charged me for HkS injectors when he fukin installed the crappy precision ones. I"m sure he didn't wire up my AF as wellll....glad the wool has been removed from our eyes

I noticed in your threads that you used to praise Mark and now it seems as though you have swung toward Sharif. Do you recommend Sharif and crew over SGP and can you tell me why?

agreed but he paid for it....so i am just showing people a positive experience with SGP....i mean i never gave him a cent in my life and he helped me get my car off the side of the road....

I used to work at AAM and yes like every shop they have had happy and unhappy customers....i just find it unprofessional for me to post on other's experiences...i have my own group of happy customer's who will back my integrity to this day....i have personally felt horrible for people who seem to have been taken advantage of and have always tried to help.....it seems that this issue is is still a little unclear.....u are unhappy with they way things were installed......personally I don't see that as a reason for someone to be made out to be a theif

Why not tell them the whole story Mark. Don't sit here and act like you didn't do anything wrong. I never posted a thread about my bad experience there, but since you want to attempt to call me out, i will indeed clarify. Not that it matters, because I had to go to a real shop to get a tune and yes they do charge...
I drive to Houston to get a tune and UTEC install. After having the car all day, which is understandable I guess, you tell me it is finished. You did not test drive the car because I heard the last dyno pull and then there it was. You made a whopping 348 whp and 300 trq. You told me if I wanted to make more power, I would need bigger injectors and return fuel system. I said I will do that later if I decide to upgrade. I pay you, then I leave. I get a hotel and stay the night because it was late. I leave Houston the next morning and return to Louisiana. As I get out of Orange texas, and cross over into La, My car started studdering. I was pretty pissed. When I got home I showed my cousin, and as late as it was, we ran it down the back road to asses the problem. It was falling all over the place at WOT, studdering and everything. I talk to you the next morning, and tell you what happenned. You tell me" thats what I was afraid of, I put your injectors too far out. 97% duty cycle or so. You are going to have to buy new ones along with a return fuel system" That did not sit well with me because I just spent a lot of money, time, and it was a 6 hour drive one way, and my car was running better BEFORE the TUNE. Your answer to the problem was for me to send you my utec so you could put a map on it, and sell me products I did not need. I send you the utec, and you offer to give me the **** I need and the problem will go away, and I will basically have to settle for a flash? I send you the UTEC, you put a map on it, and send me the injectors and return fuel system. You tell me I needed 750CC, but send me a set of USED 440 cc injectors? I send them back, you send some new 750cc injectors. I have all that stuff installed, crank it up, and can't even make it down the block. It was shooting fuel out the damn exhaust. I put the fuel pressure reg all the way as low as possible(20-23 psi) and it stilll won't go anywhere. I Pm you since you don't return my call, and you tell me "make sure my selector switch is in the 1 position, that will explain the rich condition" What a stupid response, and especially since when we put it to a laptop, switch 1-5 all had the same exact maps!! so it wouldn't have mattered...So here I am, with my car running horrible, and you tell me I need to bring it back for a retune so you can fix it, but will charge me for the retune, when you did not do it right the first time? gee thanks. As for the money situation you are full of ****. You(and not you literally but someone at SGP) charged UNAUTHORIZED 1002.95 to her card and you admitted to doing that and actually apologized, so don't even go there. This sucks...I personally do not believe in blasting companies on here or any other public forum, I believe that these types of things should be handled on a personal basis.
It is so hard because Gman has one story and SGP has another, so how does anyone tell who is right or wrong. I think everyone here agrees with any shop there are going to be good and bad experiences, unfortunately sometimes the bad experiences are truly terrible.

Not saying you are not telling the truth Gman, but at the same time if what Mark says happened then I understand where he is coming from. This is the problem with putting this out there, the stories are ever the same....it is human nature. Hopefully everyone is very careful when dealing with any shop for anything they do.

Navygold you bring up good points about not know which side is telling the truth, but Sam has no interest on whose is telling the truth. He said the FCON was not hooked up properly and Mark says it was. Why would Sam lie especially considering that SGP is a customer of GTM. Sam has nothing to gain. In fact he stands to lose if SGP doesn't buy from them anymore. Sam even told me not to post his info, but I did against his request.
also if Mark didn't do anything wrong why is he offering me a free plenum. You don't offer free chit for nothing! So he offered me a free plenum cause I relocated my air intake temp sensor. BS

I can only imagine how Lee felt because what he says happened is my biggest fear. Driving out of town to pay gobbs of money to have my car run and perform correctly and then being stuck like chuck out in the middle of nowhere on the way home after paying to "have things done right".
As far as hurting shops reputation, if these incidents are true who gives a rats a$$ how they are damaged . We are the customers and it is there job to correctly perform the services which they charge at a premium price. Hell if i wanted to go back behind them and work on my car I would rather just do it all myself instead of paying through the nose to get the work "professionally" done.
