If you buy another Turbonetics turbo this is likely to happen again. Look at all the smoking turbo's we have here on the board. That's not by chance. Of course you can always wait for the Turbonetics stage II (what... is it May already)?
Swapping over to a Greddy TT from the Turbonetics will run about $3500 if you do the work yourself. Fabrication and installation for the GT3582R will run you about $2500 and their are no guarantees concerning the way the car will perform.
Instead of heading into the unknown with a fistful of dinero the smart decision is to get the Greddy TT. It's proven and the outcome is known. The single turbo's available can't make the power.

I cant say if having a turbo on your car for just over a year and it goes bad is good or not
I have only had my TT kit on a few months with no probs so time will tell I guess.. Sucks this happened to you tho and GL with whatever you do next..

Drop a GT35R on there and boost the **** out of it. TT is the easy way out, and while a strong GReddy / APS setup can be monsterous, most of the dyno's we see on the boards from typical installs are in the 500-550 range. That's an EASY mark with a proper setup on a Garrett 3582R. Biggest concerns are fuel and ems. But even the TT guys have to properly address those areas to hit big numbers.
Just food for thought.
