AEM EM? anyone using this?
im pretty sure im going to go with the HKS but i wanted to weigh all the options here.. out in utah i have a friend who tunes the AEM on his supra and he seems to know his ****.
as i know right now there are no HKS tuners in utah.. i couldnt even find a damn utec tuner out here.. ill be sending my car off to sam at GT here in about a week or so and wanted to see if anyone is using the aem and if you had any info on it.
tuners could you help me weigh the pro's and con's between the two?
thanks

We have the correct AEM Boxes that are modified to work on the 350Z/G35 platform although we still prefer the VPro, the AEM is a great unit but it is also just as expensive (if not a little more)

Jimmy, imo i would do the vpro. the aem is a nice setup but as far as i can tell isnt officially backed by aem. its a unit modified to work on the z. the hks is tried and true plus your installer recommends it.

Dude i plan to use the G strictly for track and weekend .. going to vegas and phoenix for races.. and what not.. ill be going with cody.. the guy who has the supra and tunes with the aem.. all the different altitudes and temps require different tunes..
i really want to be able to adjust my tune when needed. AEM seems like it could be the better bet. if sam can tune a map for me on that and it has the same capabilities as the hks then i may go this route.

Aem also has a barometric sensor built in to compensate for altitude changes as well.
If you have any other questions just let me know.

How well do the corrections on the AEM work? Ive heard not as great as the FCON as far as tune it and forget it, but obviously better than the UTEC's which sucks....any feed back would be appreciated!
