Default Bad Fuel Leak

I filled up for the first time since everything my mods were installed and I started leaking out of the passenger side underbody in front of the rear wheel. It smells horrible inside the car and i've lost a good amount of gas. I was still leaking with like 1/2 tank left. I just opened the service area and on the supply side(passenger) there is a small 1/2" rubber o ring that is sitting next to where the fuel return goes into and there is gas on the top of the assembly. Do you guys think this is the problem or is there another gasket that needs checked/replaced. I'll pull the assembly shortly for more details.

So, just put the 1/2" o ring on the fuel return entering the assembly and were good? Should I use Formed In Place Gasket for additional sealing?

I removed the service cover and in addition to the 1/2 diameter o ring that was just sitting on top of the assembly the large o ring that seals the assembly to the cover was "stretched" out and does not fit into the grove all the way around. Hopefully I can get an o ring from Infiniti tomorrow and that will fix it.
Phunk, I wasn't installing anything. I just got the car back after the AAM 3" and Fcon install. This is the first time i've filled it since the new motor and everything else went in. The gas must have been low when I dropped it at AAM for Fcon install so, it wasn't noticable. I'll post pics anyway so others will note the problem.

Sounds fishy. If you had zero problems before you dropped off the car and now you just happen to have o-rings out of place on the fuel assembly which shouldn't have been touched, I would definitely be worried that someone screwed with the car.

Thats not it. The motor, trans, rear end, fuel pump supply and return were all installed elsewhere and I had the car transported to MD and dropped it of at AAM. They installed the 3" exhaust and Fcon. I got the car back and the car ran out of gas so I filled up and it leaked right away. This was a problem with the install.

The Gasket that seals the assembly was definitely worn. I replaced it with a new one from Nissan for about $11. Everything is perfect now.

Look at the fuel arm that tells you how full the tank is it may be sitting on a black hose or was just messed up. Sounds like a very sloppy install, and you should get that checked out. just finished doing my own 3 weeks ago and no problems. Only that there was a small hole drilled into the side of the 90 degree fitting that screwed into the new intank regulator. Was messing up the fuel pressure. Hope you fix it.
