But for what GTM charges, I'd rather spend a little time ensuring proper fitment than wasting money for a name.

Regardless, the fan shroud is still a helpful cooling mod. Whether you buy the Mishmoto or make one yourself. depends on how handy you are. Its just an aluminum shroud with 2 fans screwed to it.

Agreed, if you are capable, it's much better to just fabricate your own.
the mishimoto shroud does not fit very well, but you can make adjustments to get it in.
FWIW, i found it more economical to buy the mishimoto shroud & fan kit, then swap out one of the mishimoto fans for a higher performing SPAL. you'll have a better performing fan & shroud combo for far less than the other fan & shroud combo on the market.
