Default Engine Management and Airbag Light ???

Hey thought I would throw this question in here due to the fact I think there some how related to the FI. I have a blinking airbag light ever since about 2 weeks after my Utec/turbo went in.

Anybody get this light from Utec or anything like that? It didn't bother me for the last month or two, but now its getting annoying.

Any help ? Thanks Guys

Did you or do you have side mounted air bags. (the air bags in the seat). Could they be disconnected?

I did but I'm using the resistor set up to keep them off (which were working before the Utec/turbo)

If steering column was rotated while steering knuckle was disconnected, you can break the clock-spring. If your horn works, and steering wheel controls work, then you are good to go. Now try this.

Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON.
Air Bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, the turn ignition switch OFF within 1 second after the lamp turn off.
After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 two more times. (Perform 3 times in total.)
Turn Ignition switch ON.
The SRS lamp has been reset it.

If you still cant get it to work, goto the dealer, and they can reset it with the consultII.

It will not affect your UTEC, your tune, or anything else.

I had the seats in before the turbo and stuff and I had no SRS light due to the resistors in the airbag electrical lines. I guess I have to look at them again or try resetting the ECU.

BTW car's running good Sam
