This looks very promising to say the least. Great work Sharif.
We just established ECU control of the fans this morning. Works great. For track cars, we're also installing a pair of switches, to force the fans on as needed. On the track, I'll probably just run both fans on continuously. Thanks Ryan.
Nice job FP, identifying the need, working with other shops to come up with a solution, fabricating, testing, and bringing it to market at a reasonable price point. Love the OEM integration w/ optional "track switches"...
i'm assuming since its just a shroud, that a universal application can be done using any radiator, not just the thicker core koyo?
That is correct. We are using the factory shroud mounting points on the rad, so any aftermarket fan, that is designed to work with the stock shroud, will work with ours.
OK, here are the results from road Atlanta, used Jose's NA Z as a reference. 95F outside temps, he used to see 220F quickly (within 3-4 laps), and now his MAX temp seen was 200F, and it was only the last couple laps of his session. His oil temps also went from 280F down to about 250F. And within one cool down lap, temps were sub 190F, and by the time he pulled into the pits, he was looking at 170F. Pretty good results I think. Jose was pushing it pretty hard, and we timed him at 1:43 with a passenger in the car.
I didnt have a coolant temp gauge on my car, but the car definately ran much cooler, as the needle didnt move much at all.

Excellent!
Yet surprising because I was expecting that fans, together with road track speed airflow, wont make much difference.
Would these shrouded fans then be better cooling mod than oil cooler? Thanks
Sharif
I have a set of slim flex-o-lite fans used for more room with my Cog pulley SC set up . But we wired them up for one speed . Would you be willing to sell the fix to wire them up for full function ?
Thanks Bill
