Default APS SG 350z "Service engine soon"

Hi all after using my 350z with the APS SG mod for over a year, the idiot light popped on. I removed it a few times over the day but it always returned. The codes point to Air Fule mixture, Ive replaced the stock air meter for $250 with no luck there, if anyone has any suggestions I need em, I don't want to start swapping parts.

Welcome to FI. Very common if you search. Could be an O2 sensor or something else very simple. Do you have a wideband? If so what's it running? I've been throwing O2 codes basicly since day one. I just don't worry about it know more, as long as my A/F are good. But that's me.

Thanks for the help, Yes, I have the Innovate wide band A/F along with a Boost gague and a EGT. The A/F seems normal at idle it's steady around 14.5 and I haven't been driving it hard. At WOT, I can't be looking at guages I'm kinda busy if ya know what I mean. Did your car's indicator just pop on after driving a few 1000 miles or did it throw codes from jump street?

Thanks again

My CEL light has been on since day one, but I'm without cats. Running the same at Idle or normal driving, roughly 14.5, under boost about 11ish

Hi Guy, same here no cats APS down pipes. What codes is/are the ECU dumping? What has your tuner told you? Has your car ever been running rich? and if you could tell me the RPM when the code is dumped I would appricate it. On a hunch (and APS installer advice) I'm replacing the upper pair of O2 sensors with OEM Nissan parts (when the dealer gets them).

Thanks
CD

APS SG Kit
Full off road 2/1/2" dual APS Exhaust
APS Tall Boy

Wide band O2 sensor, Boost and EGT guages all within normal ranges

I doubt that we can eliminate the CEL, that's OK, it's going to signal without cats. I know I'm running moderately rich because of the tune; I think it's probably "safer" being too rich, as apposed to being too lean. A fair trade off of FI. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
