If you are brave then you can always make adjustment on the fuel but I wouldn't touch the ignition unless you know what you are doing and have access to a dyno.
yes im using innovate lc-1 wideband, with utec EMS, also im having trouble with my lc-1 to my acuatal gauge the db-red... it ****ing stays blinking at 7.4 then jumps all over the place, maxx ive seen it was around 21.8, but i dont believe its right

Do you have any basic knowledge in tuning? Download the Utec manual and read that thing 10x. Do a lot of reading and as long as you get a good base map then you should be able to at least make minor adjustment on the fuel.

The stumbling going into boost on mine turned out to be the MAF. Also found a small boost leak

Do you have Utec and running speed density?

Just an FYI, the heat shield bolt that the turbo intake bracket bolts to is very week. I had a real bad rattle for a month or so and finally took some time to look underneath. The bolt which is welded into the floor of the trunk broke off which caused the heat shield to rattle against the floor of the trunk. I ended up just running a stainless bolt from the trunk down through and it's real solid again.

I use the Blitz SBC i-D Dual Solenoid controller. Others have used the HKS EVC model. All have had good results.

apexi avc-r has rpm dependent boost control which i find works best for this kit since you can set the wastegate to be 99% open in the early rpm range. It made a significant noticeable difference in spool up time and responsiveness

Yes, Daniel had the AVC-R and that helped him hit full boost on 1st gear. How was the install?

Are there any negatives that go with the AVC-R install because that sounds great being able to build full boost in first gear.

only tricky part of the install was getting the speed signal hooked up right.

sold my APS ST a few months ago for personal reasons. However Just came across BNIB STS for very good money. I already know the opinions of Daniel and Bobby at CIN since they back this turbo kit and i def trust Bobbys opinion. So to the OGs that have had STS installed for a while whats ur thoughts? still happy?
