Eagles have taken a sheit on me in the past... so I will never recommend them. Especially when you are talking about a few bucks in the grand scheme.

you dont have the ARP head studs listed, so just making sure and the stock DE headgasket is not meant for FI

You have a turbo capable of making high 600whp. Spend a few more bucks up front to make sure you arent doing it twice.

Rawley,

The STS kits respond better to higher compression built motors. Bobby from CIN Motorsports was recommending as high as 9.5:1 CR. I feel his recommendation comes from extensive experience with STS kits.

+1 and your motor is only stage 1 so I doubt you will be boosting 30psi on the engine. Why need such a low compression if you are not going 25+psi? Just my .02

that turbo is very capable of 30psi, so if he gets better rods, there's no reason he shouldnt be boosting to 30psi.

So your build consist of basically a stage 1 block with pauter rod? If I'm not mistaken Sam recommend only 16-18psi on his stage 1 block. Of course it's capable of more but he's just playing it safe. If the builder said his block is capable of up to 600whp then that is the max and that should be done around 20psi (race gas). I still think 9.0-9.5:1 is still a good compression at low 20psi boost.

600whp is rod dependent. with L19s, good headgasket, and good rods no reason it cant be run to the 800s. No different than Hal's daily driver motor.

yeah it would be nice to run up in the 550+ hp but i would be happy with a 450 to 500 hp range as long as its safe i mean i still want to keep it a daily driver too.

That will be easy on pump gas but 600+ on a rear mount is an uphill battle...

Default ART Pipes clip?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has the ART Pipes and has a clip with the sts setup. Thinking about giving them a shot.
