What the ****. Chris is still working sales for them. I was told after my retarded ordeal with that douche and a half that he moved to technical customer service and not sales anymore.

I'm sorry for coming off as an a-hole, and my issue eventually got completely sorted out, but STS will always be shady and have horrible customer service in my book.

Default STS customer service-NOT

I have had to replace my catalytic converters,$1500, and O2 sensors, $400, due to STS's defective UTEC dumping fuel in one of my cylinders. These costs do not even reflect labor. NEVER have I dealt with a more deceitful company in my 50+ years. They DO NOT know what customer service is and the STS warranty covers nothing but what they manufacture. That only includes the STS piping and the oil pump to the rear turbo. For everything else you have to go to the manufacture (TIAL, GARRET, UTEC, DEUTCHWERKS, etc.) of the defective part for any help.

If any of my fellow 350Z/G35 owners are considering STS; PRAY PRAY PRAY you never need customer service or to use your warranty.

If you buy, START SAVING your MONEY for the repairs you will encounter.

What makes it different if you have Greddy, TN, Vortech and buying Utec as an upgrade for your EMS? Last time I check every FI guru here advice people to have some extra $$$ on the side for the unsuspected, Coz chit will happen. So Does TN payed for the replacement of all AC line that was burned? Do other FI kit pay for Labor when things break? You are in FL right? Do you happen to deal with Chris? Also STS will help their customer to get support from the 3rd party support but as we all know those company will warranty their parts and replace them but not your engine.

Sorry to hear that buddy but you have to take the good with the bad with any FI kit. Oh, most of us are switching to Test Pipe/HFC for better performance, most of the other kit also remove the OEM CAT why spend $1500 new if you can get tons of used or almost new Cat out there? OEM cat is really not built to handle FI A/F anyways and eventually will give up.

STS warranties the "System", UTEC, Deutchwerks, etc. are part of that "System". If anyone has a warranty issue they should have to deal only with STS. STS should then deal with their vendors. Doing the RIGHT thing builds a business.

Went with dealer, my mistake.

I only had 2 miles on my newly installed STS car when all these problems started. I would probably be a little less cynical if had been out enjoying my ride at least a couple of months before more and expensive repairs started.

Whatever F/I system you decide to buy, make sure their "authorized dealers" are familiar with your vehicle. It makes for a more successful install.

I completely agree. They sell their kit with those injectors and that specific EMU, so why wouldn't they warranty all of their parts if what they're selling is good stuff? I mean who knows, what if their UTECs are refurbished units so that they can get a discount and cut costs more to earn them more profit? You usually can't tell a refurb from brand new in most scenarios.

(keep in mind, I'm not saying STS sends out their kits with ANY refurbs whatsoever, I am just saying it's possible just about anywhere)

Nah my car is in the shop right now because I'm out of town and had a chance to get a couple of things done while i was without the car. Namely try to get the Apexi AVC-R hooked up to the speed signal so I can use the gear dependent boost feature. I haven't encountered any major problems yet and Tegraracer and myself both have over 10k on the kit.

I think he had some minor accident and had to wait for the body shop to finish. Last time I heard from Rick (about a week ago) that the new FMIC and new compressor are being tested.
