The topic of the thread turned to drag racing, Luie posted his time slip and was talking about running 10's. I guess you consider being invited to Florida to come drag race a call out. Then you go on to say all FL guys are FOS, now that could be considered a call out. See what I'm saying, it goes both ways man. In my opinion the invite to Florida is friendly competition just like what Luie and yourself just did. Im not a drag racer nor am I in the heated battles that go on, on this site. I just didn't appreciate being grouped into here come the FL guys, I read a statement and gave my valid opinion.

 

Everyone back on topic. If your going to the event on the 30th, then sign up and run what you brung. If not then keep it about the 2 setups that the thread was intended for.

I'm installing a Turbonetics as we speak and I can gaurantee that my first time out I'll run better than 11.6! My comment wasn't directed towards you personally but could care less if you took it that way.

Wow! I leave the house to drive down to forged , and you guys start going at it.

I am sure all the calling out is in prue fun, but lately it seems it been a constent FP vs PF comment here or there.

So my question is how do you find out who wins??
1.Is it the shop has the most set ups in the overall top ten?
2. What shop has the most built motors in the top ten?
3 What shop has the mst built motors in the top ten that are still running?

Will I do my best to make it down there? Hell Yeah!
Just one week from delivery of my built motor, I went out and put it up against one of the fastest Z, on this forum with one of the fastest driver, I then took it to the track and ran it 4 times, and got a 11.6 on LOW boost.

All I hear about from pepole is how FP has all these high HP built cars with no times. Well how's my times for starters.

Do I think FP is putting out the fastest, most reliable motors. I think so. I am running low boost and only 4 other members have higher traps, running 500+hp to my 480. I still have 201hp on tap to get me into the 10's, With all this trash talking, I am taking it that there are probably few 10sec Z's down there, so I will go there expecting a few 10sec Z, dont disapoint me

People need to stop talking about what they are going to do, or think they are gonna do and just do it! This is why I hate discussing online what I think or what Id like to run down the 1/4...I run my car for personal satisfaction, I could give 2 $hits what number I am on some drag list or what some guy in FL with a stock block on the verge of blowing up runs

I am doing it! I've got a month to get a few more parts in and installed, then get to PF for a tune. Just because some of us don't have a 10 pg. thread of our set-ups doesn't mean we're sitting idle.

Now go find another camera angle. Can we get one showing how fast you move your feet down the 1/4

11.0 at 122 and a couple 124 passes, stock motor, not one thing done to it, NO nitrous at all, just 15 psi , C16 and one of the best drivers on the boards....

 

man guys, this is not a PF vs FP debate, this is not a question of who is faster or better driver..


lets all just progress this platform in a forward direction, have fun while doing it and keep it friendly. i know ALL the parties involved here and everyone of you is very cool in your own way. please keep this on a positive note.


FL people are definitely representing on the map and have a lot of fast cars for sure. not taking away from anything that any other shops have done in the least...

racing and competitiveness/cockyness has been and will be some of the most arrogant crowd of any sport. that is just its nature, just keep it fun!!

 

Haha this a big joke honestly there is always one shop and its surrounding parties who always think they can do better or just compare... just worry about your own ****, do your own thing, and let it be, why a big competion? Plus these callouts are crazy, if your gonna call somebody out at least him them within a 200 mile radius... who wants to drive 10+ hours to do a bs drag race for no prize?????

I have always enjoyed watching vids of different set-ups, especially when I was NA aspiring to be FI. As car enthusiasts who wouldnt? Your hater comment above shows your true nature.
