I am trying hard to figure out and test a solution so I can cleanly run down the track. If this isnt possible by this week, I wont run my car over and over and over at a track day only to get out of it, and possibly put my car into the wall. Im no pu$$y, like I said I was in this for me before Julian or anybody for that matter had signed up. I will of course keep you guys updated, Im swicthing back to wider slicks this week, and skinnnier front tires and I still need to fix my Level 5 axles before Friday...

where are you racing friday? would you mind spectators being present? I thought about bringing the Z out and racing on street tires but haven't decided yet. however, I wouldn't mind watching though.

I wont say-sorry man I'd rather not have anybody other than close friends @ the track. This was at Cecil BTW-pick 1 of 4 tracks in MD on Friday if all goes well I'll be at one N/T FTW!!

I would guess that crapitol is out and most likely MIR. So, that narrows it down to one of the two in Northern MD. Well, if you don't want spectators, I'll have to wait until track day. Good luck getting the set up to work. Definitely want to see the beast run in person. (Makes me feel slow)
Trust me you dont want to see my weaksauce a$$ spin down a track, its not fun for anybody..
too much power man. try doing a longer burnout. MT ET streets should hold up. My friend does 11.80s in his camaro with them, no spinning what so ever. you have to heat them up though. like do a burnout through 3rd gear and get them spinning.
either way, you can always have fun on the street.

Second pass I roasted them, and they spun really easy. My 11.5"wide ET streets would barely need a burnout and bogged this current set-up with worse camber!

could try going back to 26 x 11.5? see how that works? even with the 5th gear shift, going down the track clean would be a plus
rim screws: they screw into the rim and also go through the tire holding it in place. I'm just wondering because without them some of my friends spun the rim inside the tire when launching. Not sure how that applies to your situation but I wonder if it affects your control with the "floating" at all once you reach the end of the track

i did this with my lenso rims on slicks when i had a turbo'd gs-r. we called it 'bead-locking'.
