definitely looks like you are launching way too hard. when you were launching in your ST days it looked alot less aggressive. but like you said, the slicks should have no problems holding for you. I've seen people use MT ET streets and do 9.60's on 10" wide slicks.

I was more than happy with my times, and based on your vids, they look a bit better than your runs on SLICKS! I do it for fun, but there is a big difference between me and you. I race my car HARD, so it is not worth my time or $$$ to run my car unless its for a good time and going 100%. I could spin down the track on street tires and run 12's all day long AND not break but what fun is that? Different strokes for different folks...

(2nd gear means you are spinning around 60 mph or so?) i was doing 2nd gear burnouts in my drag radials, still wasn't enough to smoke them and get them hot enough to hold traction.
