but i agree there is some nuthugging... Rude pointed to good facts on the main sponsors to the site... but there are some people that over do it like...bashing someone else for a non related thread in FI section but they don't to when their shop does it... ..thats nut-hugging i guess...
OR when the props go in without even reading the thread in an exaggerated way......
Or coming out of nowhere to threads to defend without knowing everything, sending threatening Pms just cause someone ask them to defend them and they do it blindly
It happens...
you example of navygolf is the best..

Anyway, using the term "nuthugger" is a weak term used by people who feel the need to insult others because they either support a shop/product, or approve of something. Anyone who uses the term is basically written off in my book as someone who isn't intelligent enough to actually debate the issue in a constructive manner.
It's just like calling someone a "retard" because they don't agree with you, or calling someone a "b1tch" because they won't stoop to your level and argue/fight.
It's all childish banter and this forum is full of it.
I believe the real threat to the constructiveness of this forum are the people solely jump on to bandwagon concepts and ideas because they don't know any better. There's a lot of misinformation perpetuated here based on what certain shops tell people. Many folks here will blindly believe and even flame or chastise someone that disagrees just because they will be backed up by others who were "told" the same thing.
But hey, there's safety in numbers. Bandwagoneers unite!

or going "navy golf" on the thread... or supporting something blindly and attacking somoene they dont agree with your even when someone makes a point that they actually support the same product but still they can't realize when there is somethign else better. Or attacking someone without knowing all the facts (already said)
Riiight...
+1 on the rest you said
