Boost and fuel issue (vortech)
I read the vortech posting and couldn't seem to find the answer. I have seems some ideas that I will need to do like:
Test the VAC lines
I need to change COG tensioner pulley to the correct set up
Make sure the gauge is reading right
Here is the issue:
I cant seem to get it past 5lbs with the 3.12 pulley. When I get to the point of redlining the rpm's, the fuel pressure gauge peaks out at 100 psi. Any suggestions on how to get the 8lbs and this fuel psi crap? Any other suggestions would be helpful so I can get them done all at once would be great.
This is what I have done to the car:
Voretch SC-3.12 pulley
750cc injectors
Random Tech high flow cats
Vibrant exhaust
Thanks

to resolve some of the fp issues, do the turbonetics mod. Go to there site and drill out the regulator in the pump assembly and remove the yellow piece.
Are you still using the stock fuel pump? If so ditch it and get a walbro. Then you can remove the aux pump. and run the walbro and fmu. If you are going to use the utec, you can remove the fmu too.
