Yeah, most of the aftermarket bearings shoot for "somewhere in the middle" of the specs and are usually a little loose or a little tight. "Race" series bearings are typically thinner than the standard bearings from what I understand. Depending on who you talk to, shops will opt for a peticular bearing in all of their builds, or will use the Nissan spec bearings based on the crank/block grading. With the factory bearings, you get a lot of choices and are able to dial in your desired clearances. With the aftermarket, it's going to be close, but the clearances will fluctuate from build to build.

Here is a higher boost curve. 525 DD at about 14 psi or so...93 octane pump map.Note the steady curve with no drop off!!

MRC:

so are these turbo cams, or are they good for a NA high revving package, or at least does Brian Crower have a cam that can sustain that sortof power curve? and have you actually tested it?

i'm looking at the last dynochart and the power seems to level then drop off between 6200-6400 rpm. please correct me if i'm wrong. and you also stated that you have a port and polish by headgames, and full ferrea vavletrain right? i'm not saying those cams arent nice, but i just dont see them increasing in power to 7000rpms. btw, i like the trq curve though! EDIT: on the first dyno graph i see the power incease to redline, but just not in the second graph.

Compared to other dyno charts, where the power seems to dramatically drop off at 6000-6500 these cams make a nice power curve till 7400rpms. the car does pull harder up top onthe track. Keep in mind my tune drops off to mid 10's A/F,and timing is reflecting a 93 octane tune. which causes some power loss, with a 112 octane tune it should maintain a bit better at higher boost levels.
However show me another LOW boost map dyno chart that makes the power the way the BC did on my car..

stg2 :
Adv.Dur. = 264/264
Dur.@.050 = 222/222
Lift(in) = .426"/.426"
Lift(mm) = 10.82mm/10.82mm

i think stg3 is 275º

(subscribing for dynosheet @ higher boost levels)

and LOL @ thread title change
The specs look almost identical to the JWT S1 cams except for 4 degrees more duration (both 222 @ .05) with the S1 having slightly higher lift. Would love to see the JWT cam dyno curve overlaid with one of the ones above for the same boost level...

i dont know what your LOW boost map is but this is mine at 15psi( my low boost)probably would have made more power if i had a port and polish on the heads. the low boost is the dotted line. the solid line is 18psi. all on 93 octane.
