kognition, do you work for RA or represent them? AFAIK, Scott has always been a stand up guy - so I'm sure he will chime in and sort this out.

This whole latter half of this thread is "paperwork error" and now way off topic. Nevertheless, since you brought it up, I am curious (like many others I'm sure) to know exactly what the "paperwork error" was? Care to explain that (if you're in the know)?

If Sharif received an engine and it didn't have the parts that the paperwork the customer supplied said it did, then I would think the customer would be very upset. Is he a member on this board?

As far as I can tell, only Scott, the customer, and Sharif have first hand knowledge of what transpired. I'd just as soon to wait to hear from one of them before jumping to any conclusions.

EDIT: just saw Sharif's post - probably another thread is best.

Ok, Sharif has said he will start another thread so let's keep this one on topic. That topic btw is Philthy's car.

I too, just called Scott at RA before making this post. He like me thinks this is ridiculus and very childish and he is in no way worried about these so called accusations.

Like everybody says they will come out, but not the way the haters think.

UNTIL somebody can show a RELENTLESS AUTOSPORTS LLC actual invoice that is false on this motor, or any of the motors that they have built with parts on THEIR build sheet, then everyone should just relax.

The one sad and ridiculus factor in this entire mess is that the seemingly reputable SHARIFF knows all the facts by the customer who purchased the motor from one of RA's vendors that mistakingly sent an invoice including the wrong build sheet on this motor. "Honest Mistake on their part". And he has even been told the facts by the vendor who directly sold the motor and admitted the mistake to be their fault.

You guys all know that game you used to play in grade school called "Telephone" where you whisper a riddle into 1 kids ear and by the time it gets through the room the story is blown out of proportion and completely ridiculus. Thus this is where the Philthy MRC/ East Coast shops Etc... come into play. But the starting point was Shariff. Way to go buddy....

OK, so Philthy...

I always thought you had a nice G, ever since Rob showed me your car in the issue of Car Sound & Performance. I don't understand the criticisms by others about your G. I think your G looks clean and I like the wheels too.

BTW, any chance you're going to ever drive it out here to AZ or visit Rob anytime soon? I look forward to meeting you in person.

We are a carbon fabrication company here in El Cajon. We make/test racing parts with RA on their track cars. If anyone has RA's integrity in doubt, you can call Scott any time. He is only too happy to discuss it.

Thanks for all the props from everyone - even if some of you thought my wheels looked small/ugly

The car just got a few more mods (Sharif is my car done yet...? lol), and I'll get some more info and dynos (DJ & DD) up soon...

VRT/RA (and VRT/RA fan boy club) - thanks for your opinions, I do read them and take them into account – at the end of the day it’s my car and I need to like it... I have just purchased another set of CCW drag wheels, I’ll get some pics of them up soon and hopefully you'll like them more...

kognition - chill with the VRT/RA nut huggers leader perception - you make a great product and I use it on my car when I'm on a road course, but dude, you need to get away from VRT/RA as quickly as you can, lay low at a bare minimum... I told Jim a LONG TIME ago to stay away from VRT, and I’ll be calling him on Monday to reiterate my feelings about VRT II (RA) – IMO!

Good, Phill call Jim on Monday. I am pretty sure he would love to hear from you. I will probably be there anyway. Just be sure to tell him who you are, "Phillthy" on the message boards.... And PLEASE do, let him know what you think about my company and the work we do with him.

I realy do like your gauge set up though. With the G's interier it is hard to find a good spot to place gauges

Thanks for the gauge props - I can do some pretty cool things with fiberglass...

Jim knows exactly who I am, JWT has sponsored my car long before VRT/RA were on the Z/G seen...

Here are a couple of pics that I have handy...

This is a combo gauge/tweeter pod...

Center gauges and Defi control unit molded into center console...

There's a couple changes to the above layout since I changed/added a few things - dual bank HKS knock amps/o2, ditched the Blitz and running an HKS EVC and swaped the AEM o2 for an AEM water temp gauge - I'll get some more pics up soon...
